You see videos of people pulling apart keyboards and adding all kinds of mods to get the same sound as this comes with out the box. Crazy level of performance and deserves all the hype it's getting.
i know rightt, this is so good
I am absoletly with you! I also like the 5 minutes. It so time wasting having these keyboards ripped apart and pushing the videos to 15 minutes what you could basically show in 5...
Thanks so much for the vid - super interesting :)
@SayneTV no problem, yeah I like to keep my videos short and simple. thank you so much for your support!
I just unboxed mine and am blown away. The sound profile is absolutely perfect. It's the coziest keyboard I've ever owned.
my exact thoughts!
which switches did you get?
@@yorgohoebeke I think they're called juggle V3 or something like that.
The keyboard looks so nice for the price! I remember this one from your giveaway, and I think I picked this one as one of the options. The light purple one is such a nice color too. Well done review!
i know rightt, thank you for watching!
THANK YOU FOR THE REVIEW ANGEL!! just got this yesterday
NO PROBLEM!!
Would you recommend it?
@@thenewbb defenitely
@@thenewbb yea man its been weeks since i used it its very worth it for its price
Thanks for making this review I got the blueberry party one sounds great thanks!
nice no problem!!
I just got this keyboard and it sounds incredible. Holy shit, it's remarkable. I love it.
i know rightt, i love it too
HI8 even better
That's the sound without mods?! Crazy how good and affordable mechanical keyboards are nowadays.
yeahh it’s without mods!!
Never heard of Epomaker. I haven’t seen any other brands beat their features for the price point. Thanks for the recommendation
no problem! yeah check them out, ive been loving their keyyboards!
Epomaker used to just sell retailed keyboard and some switches but now they’re making high quality keyboards!
@@thenewbbThis keyboard is also a resell. The official manufacturer is Leobog.
After going around 2 weeks viewing videos of keybords. Il was yours who decided me to order this one. That will be my first mecanical keyboard, yéééé !!! the sound is so hypnotic, i couldn't resist for long. i might upgrade it with ceramic keycaps in the futur, if i really fall into the thock experience. And maybe go for premium case keyboard. But thanks to your nice video, my first step as been done. Tomorrow, I will receive it with ice cyan clicky switches, who surelly will break my hears and heart. But 2 days from that moment, i will get the nimbus V3 switches and i will get some love from life. i have search for others switches, but it's pretty hard to find videos of different switches with this keybord and mda kaps. I hope you will get more visibility, cause your video was well made will good visuals and nicer quality sounds that the others videos i have seen ...
wow, thank you so much for the kind words! i feel honored that my video helped you decide your first keyboard, hope you enjoy it. you will like it!!
POM switches are very nice
1:30 if thats not a tongue twister idk what is lol great vid
i know right, it was my first time learning about the plate material too, thank you!
I just ordered this but with the "Ice Cyan" switches as I prefer tactile" Hoping it still has that cozy THONK. If not EPOMAKER's switches do not cost much at all really.
i HAD to order mine with ice cyan switches... and i see the video of the noise they make... clicky light noise... i wonder the sound they make if you remove the click from them, still i have to order 2 sets of the nimus V3, cause i looove the stone noise .
I like it! I actually do think you did find a great sub-$100 75% aluminum keyboard. I actually do like the color ways too, and I would love to have an aluminum keyboard for my next one, but it’s still too soon for me. Maybe they’ll come up with a V2 by then with a GMK/VIA programmable software. Thanks for the review Angel!
yeahh get ittt
I’m deciding between this, the Aula f75 and the royal kludge m75 (75% is my fav)
@@thenewbb what did You choose
finally a great keyboard
yuhhh
The sound is crazy! Love it! I'm wondering if any of the switches have a more firm actuation force? I've heard that the low fast press can lead to mistyping? I'm used to tactile firm browns. Or if linear , slightly firm like Kaihl linear reds. Great video as usual👍⌨️
Thanks for watching!! I would get the Ice cyan switches. Looking at the specs they are a little heavier compared to the other switches available plus it's tactile. Click the Amazon link in the description for more info. If you scroll all the way down, it will tell you the specs of all switches.
Ice Cyan switch specs below:
Type: Tactile
Material: POM stem, PC housings
Pin: 5 Pins
Pre-travel: 1.7mm
Total Travel: 3.6mm
Initial Force: 49gf Min
Actuation Force: 30±3 gf
Bottom Force: 45gf
Lifespan: 60 millions of stokes
@@AngelPGC Thank you so much! ! I will click. Keep the great content coming!🙌🎉⌨️🤓👍
no problem, thank you so much!! 👍
Thank you for this very helpful video. I am agonising over choosing between this board, the Aula F75 and the RKm75. What would you suggest? I don’t care about RGB or bluetooth. Just like consistent typing feel and pleasant marbly or thocky sounds.
No problem! I havent tried the aula f75, and rkm75 yet, but I am loving the sound of the hi75. It's really high quality too, i'm using it right now!
Bought one because of you 😆
nice!! let me know if you like it 🤩
i just bought one because of you and hipyo. typing on it now, it is super, super awesome. I used to be a gamer brand guy, no more. Just ditched my chery mx corsair for Leobog, even a few months ago i would never have thought i'd switch to a relatively unknown chinese brand. it was such an eye opener. I opted for the jungle blue v2 switch, although funnily enough here it's called building block v2, because i'm used to tactile and tired of my old noisy chery blue. still can't believe how cheap this thing is, it's quite heavy and premium, a few years ago this would've cost more than gaming keyboards
nicee i’m glad you like it !
Yay!❤❤❤
i love this keyboard but no black option! i see they have a k81 but i dont know if that sounds similar to this one
I saw the K81, but unfortunately theres no option for the nimbus switches. There is a barebones kit available for the Hi75 in black color, if you want to make the keyboard yourself. epomaker.com/products/epomaker-leobog-hi75?variant=47369057009972
I’m planning on getting this exact keyboard soon but I really want to change the keycaps and I’m not sure where to start looking! I’ve never switched out keycaps before. Are there any specifics I need to look for? Can any keycaps I like go on?
I would check out keycaps on Amazon, Epomaker, or Akko. They have some pretty budget options. If you want it to sound similar for this keyboard, I would get keycaps that are made out of thick PBT material and in either MDA or cherry profile.
I will definitely get this in White Green, but is there a way to turn off RGB when plugging in? If so, how?
nicee! you can turn off the rgb by turning down the brightness with FN + Down arrow key. There's also a preset RGB mode where it's off too. I show it at 4:10
in the sec 4:56 do u know how make this "tap" configuration works?
Edit: nevermind, i needed to activate the "tap" option in Global configuration first (in the first left icon main menu)
Great review. Can the software do per-key RGB lighting? Like for example, making the arrow keys red and the rest of the keys blue?
thank you, yes! if you see there's a "Self-Define" option in the software at 5:03 where you can customize the rgb per key
@@AngelPGC Thanks!
Could you swap the nimbus switches for cherries, or would the shape of it not fit? Would nimbus need specific keycaps to fit the switches, or would anything work? Sorry, I'm new to mechanical keyboards, so I'm not super familiar with what would and wouldn't work based on shape.
no worries! yes you can swap the nimbus switches for cherry mx switches! Any switches that are 3 or 5 pin can work. The nimbus does not need specific keycaps to fit the switches.
can the dial knob be reprogrammed?
The switches you're using is the Nimbus v3, right? I'm about to order this keyboard and want to make sure I select the right switch option lol
yes, they are the nimbus v3 switches, you will like them!
@@AngelPGC ahhh just seeing this, ty for replying :) gonna order it right now! I’m excited lol
I´m from Germany which makes purchasing Keyboards a lot more difficult. I have to pay attention if the keyboard´s Software can change it to the ANSI DE Layout. Overall this is the perfect Keyboard but if I can´t use it because of that it would just be a waste of money.
Ich glaube du hast da was nicht ganz richtig verstanden. Solange du auswendig weißt wo die Tasten theoretisch sitzen gibt es so gut wie gar keinen Unterschied, kannst auch passende keycaps besorgen.
for gaming which one is better - HI75 or Royal Kluge RK84? considering respnse time, input lag, wireless connectivity, etc n which switches?
I really like the quality of the aluminum case and switches of the hi75 compared to the rk84. however the RK84 is wireless but the Hi75 is not, if you care about that!
Hello, I am new to the keyboard hobby. If I were to purchase this keyboard, can I buy any set of keycaps that I like and replace them? Will it sound any different? I know that there are different style of keycaps as well - some are more flat than others etc. Will the style effect the sound?
hi welcome to the hobby !! yes the keycaps can definitely affect the sound of a keyboard. It depends on which material and style you get. If you want it to sound similar for this keyboard, I would get keycaps that are made out of thick PBT material and in either MDA or cherry profile.
oh em gee it sounds suar good
saur good
just bought one
nicee!
how would you say this compares to the epomaker x feker galaxy80? I just watched your video on that board and these seem very similar in both features and price, only major differences I see are the slightly different layout and the knob on the leobog.
The main difference is that the Feker has Bluetooth, and wireless connection while the Hi75 doesn’t. They are also different in size, Feker is a TKL, and Leobog is a 75% keyboard. They are both aluminum and sound amazing!
I would choose based on these factors, and which color you like better.
What switches do you recommend for a person who wants a creamy/clacky keyboard?
i love the nimbus switches
@@AngelPGC Alright thanks!
which one would you say is better between this and the aula f75?
The main differences is that the Aula F75 has bluetooth, and wireless connection while the Hi75 doesn’t. The Hi75 also has an aluminum base and the F75 has a plastic base.
I would choose based on these factors, and which color you like better.
so fn + backspace turns the led of that knob on or off? and you can't change it except for breathing mode?
yes! you can see more details in the manual too! epomaker.com/blogs/manuals/epomaker-leobog-hi75-manual
Does the keybaord have different options when it comes to ANSI or ISO?
This keyboard only comes in ANSI. It does come in different keycap profiles and switches!
how can i turn off the led from the knob or change it
You can see how to in the manual: epomaker.com/cdn/shop/files/Epomaker_x_Leobog_Hi75_manual.pdf?v=15920337498509090247
Look at the second page under "KNOB FUNCTIONS"
are these types of keyboards good for gaming as well as typing?
yes! i use it for both
Is there a way to customise the RGB to make it one colour?
3:39 I show all the rgb effects and controls. FN + TAB is for the single colors
ello, been using leobog Hi75 for a week now. But I got some issue with key remap where I try to remap the key, but then after I restart/shutdown my PC the settings when default. any thoughts ?
hii, are you using the software for it?
Any keyboard recommendations under 30 pounds or when your next giveaway is? 😊 my laptop keyboard isnt doing the job 😂
There was a aluminum red dragon I saw yesterday at micro center which was 20 usd I believe it was hot swappable but ya if ur looking for budget that low red dragon might be an idea lol
at 2:05, what is the address of that site you are using to compare switches?
it was under the amazon product link! link in the description
if you had to choose between this and the yunzii al66 or al71 which would you go with primarily for gaming
sorry i’m not sure, i haven’t tried those yet! but i do really like this one
@@AngelPGC unfortunate. the yunzii are supposed to be the 'bang for buck' kings rn
I had to choose between those and I went for the hi75 as it supports 1000hz polling rate and saw some tests where it actually has really low input lag.
@@bodybuilding28 i went with the al66. sound and typing feeling is awesome. not for (comp) gaming though imo. prolly gonna get a wooting 60....
Epomakers whole collaboration was just the keycaps?
i think they are just reselling it! the board is all produced and designed by leobog
Is there any chance to turn off knob light? Can't find that option
Check out the manual and look for the “knob functions”:

How to get it to work with Mac
To change to mac layout, press FN + E
Hi does this keyboard allow uk iso layout?
hi it’s only ANSI
I want this keyboard but as a TKL instead. I need those extra keys. :(
maybe check out this keyboard instead! ruclips.net/video/tPukxRUa_0k/видео.html
@@AngelPGC Thank you so much for your recommendation. It's almost what I'm looking for. The keys sound slightly sharp, do you know if there's other brands with softer keys or whether I could modify it for a softer click?
These are other TKLs that I have reviewed!

so if I were to connect it with the cable to the ipad, it still wouldnt work :( ?
wait actually it does work if you connect it with cable! I just tried it right now with my phone, and it works
