Born out of a chance meeting in rehab between Cameron Heacock and Chad Hanks, Minneapolis-based industrial metal collective American Head Charge match their brutally executed music with their behavior.

sweet reaction, American head charge is a band I only knew from their single 'Just so you know' years ago I written them off.. BUT the past five years I decided to listen to their discography and now their one of my all-time favorite nu/industrial metal bands.
Their first independent album Trepanation is more electronic, experimental less nu reminds me of early Mushroomhead. The war of art is a solid album from beginning to end, they re-worked some songs from Trepanation that made their way on it. Funny you mention Marilyn Manson, they covered a song by them Irresponsible Hate Anthem (as well as a Ministry cover of Filth Pig). Their follow-up (third) album The Feeding is not on Spoitfy, it leans more nu metal. Afterwards they released an EP called Shoot before crowdfunding their final album Tango Umbrella. Tango Umbrella is slept on, not as solid but damn close to TWoA in my opinion.
You can't go wrong with any song off The war of art- All wrapped up, Seamless, Fall. A few others- To Taste Acid, Dirty, Cowards, Take What I've Taken, Sugars of Someday.

Listened just so you know when i was a teen. Now at 40 it is my favorite band. What a.waste of time.
They album from 2016 sucks ass
The whole records really solid. Groove metal meets the white zombie/Manson industrial underbelly & faith no more in a blender.

They have a similar sound as early Marylin Manson was more industrial in his earlier days, but Manson started making music in the early 90's, nearly 10 years before this masterpiece was created. An amazing song, and if you like the vibe, check out Linchpin by Fear Factory!
There’s a third album called “The Feeding.” Great album and the songs “Loyalty,” “Dirty” and “Leave Me Alone” are absolute bangers.

Back story on The Feeding -- They signed a pretty shady record deal with NRT Entertainment.... The band never saw a DIME for this album. The record label has since closed. The band actively advocated for their fans to pirate it -- you will never ever see it on a streaming service :(
AHC's debut album is The War Of Art. Their second album is The Feeding. Their third and last album is Tango Umbrella. Idk why The Feeding is not available to stream.

Great reaction .you know music. Seen these guys at a ozzfest in 01' st.louis. at first i didnt think much at all of the band ,but during the song "never get caught " i had a religious or spiritual experience. I floated out of my body and became one with it. It changed me. These guys were how i felt when i was in high school and in 01" i was a junior . I do think these guys took some riffs or elements from manson . They did cover , "irresponsible hate anthem" . Vocals had a faith no more mike patton thing to it at times . Ministry and slayer were also a influence. I did notice on soulfly primitive with the song "pain" they did use the same kind of structure with the breakdown as head charge did with " never get cought "

They have more albums, Spotify is missing some. It will be very unlikely that Trepanation will ever show up as it is out of print due to not clearing samples. A bunch of The War of Art tracks are Trepanation tracks reworked to be cleaner and without some of the samples.

Marilyn Manson has been around since the late 80s. I would definitely consider American Head charge more numetal than industrial, much like Hed PE.

You cant base a bands back catalouge on spotify. Youre better off using google as they have so many missing albums. AHC have 4 albums and an EP.

All the 3 major albums are great. Tango umbrella is the hardest to get in. The feeding and war of art are awesome, masterpieces that i can listen mulitple time in a day.

I loved this song and this band.
Song title is what happens to me when I take antibiotics that are sulfa-based. 🤢 I was cool with the music; the vocal got annoying very quickly for me but that could have very well been an in-the-moment thing, i.e. I haven't eaten yet and all I have in my stomach right now is a 14 oz. cup of coffee....HEEEYYYYY!!!! 🤘☕😬 I would give this another listen. It might also be cool mashed up with Ratt's Chain Reaction....

To be honest I read that as American Head Cheese at first. Not bad, don't really see myself listening to them though.
AHC is aight. Not the industrial style I go for. But its got some hooks
