The BEST Seat on American’s B777-200 (It’s not First Class)

- There's a secret on American Airlines' B777-200...and it's not in the front, but in the back. In this video, I travel cross-country over to Charlotte, North Carolina from Las Vegas, Nevada aboard American's Main Cabin in a seat that if noticed while booking can grant you more space and comfiness than the other 140+ sitting in Economy around you, without paying anymore. The flight itself though was a very nice ride, despite some obvious cons, and was one of the better hops across the US I've had aboard AA - even on what was a completely full plane. Thanks for this video bro!!! I changed my seat to 37A for my upcoming flight this Sunday from HNL to DFW because I like the right side of the plane/window seat for some reason and I liked the seat configurations back there. After watching your video I'm glad I made the change!!! Haha

I booked that row after watching this. It isn't often you can pick just two seats together in basic economy to ensure we don't have another passenger with us.

Great video! I had 37B last Summer on a CLT-MIA 777-200 flight. You're right! Those seats are awesome! Only downside is...well, trying to film the takeoff and landing over my 9 year old in 37A 😂. That extra space btwn the seat and window made for a hurting arm trying to hold out my camera and keep it somewhat steady with that extra length. Otherwise, amazing seats like you said. Jazzyguy, the next time you fly into KCLT, if you are landing on RNWY36 please look down to see if you see Carowinds Amusement park. This park is about 10-15 miles from the end of the runway, all you have to do is be on the left side of the plane and just look down. Great Videos as usual.

Kinda crazy AA flying widebodies into Las Vegas from Charlotte back in 2020
I agree they fly Charlotte to Miami 777-200ER daily. 1:45 mins approx, i guess if they can fill it it’s worth it. I never thought i would see the day were a heavy would be used where a CRJ is used.
Thanks, I reserved those seats on our LHR-MIA flight next week. Btw, The BA 380-800 has also seats like this on the last row's at the upper deck.

Miss those days with drinks upon request or no drinks at all on AA luckily I think they brought more things back now

Maybe I could consider booking the same seat if I were to fly on an American 777-200. I would be happy anywhere and I prefer to sit by the window anywhere where it’s comfortable.
Booked a trip to Paris today and I picked seats in row with 3 seats. Saw this video same day and I changed to seat 36A and 36 C for my son and I on departure and return flight. Thanks for the save lol 😂

I originally picked 37L and looked at seatguru and seen reviews in that area were meh, so I moved it up into a row where it's 3, by the window. Moved it back to 37L (opposite side) after watching this. Flying to MIA in the next coming weeks. Excited to ride in this plane!

I did exactly this from MIA to LAX back in May. So much leg room for economy prices.
That sounds more normal for a domestic wide body, cross country hub to hub.

Where is terminal 2 at Harry Reid? Did Nevadans forget how to count? Perhaps 2 is unlucky number in Vegas? Can't wait to see more, good wishes for you in 2022.
Terminal 2 was too dilapidated to be upgraded for further use . The new Terminal 3 was completed in 2012 so they transferred all other flights from T2 to T3. Afterwards Terminal 2 was demolished in 2016.
Having looked at this again, would you advise against this seat for international visitors? It seems that getting off the plane would take forever

The problem with sitting in the back row is that you have to see and smell people in line to get into and to leave the toilet. And the back of the plane fish-tails in rough turbulence.
I flew in 38L from OGG to DFW. Definitely not a bad seat!

Possibly the most uncomfortable plane in the sky. I flew JFK-EZE. I think I pulled every muscle. They pack the cattle class like sardines. They do have something called premium economy’ which is how spacious airline seats used to be in economy class. I remember those days. Next time I’m flying indirect on a different airline. That way I can stand up more and break the monotony of the long haul. I can’t take the Triple 7 torture machine again.

I'm flying on this plane to TLV as well. Just curious if it was worth the switch? I'm usually more of an isle person, since I like to get up and move around every now and again, but just curious if you felt this seat is as great as they say :)

The only downfall of those seats is if you get airsick. You feel the bumps worse in the back of the plane. I always sit in the area by or in front on the wing.

I personally think the other side of the plane is better (37L) because I like to walk across the plane. As long as it’s a window it’s fine but I Prefer 37L
I just viewed the seat map onAA's site. I'm not seeing what you are seeing. Both have the same configuration and I don't know how the walking would be different?
@@jamiehershon it’s just my preference. On a widebody I prefer the right side of the plane because I like walking to the 2nd isle. I don’t fly widebodies often.

Yes, exact same question here. It looks like the back is right up against the wall? I have an upcoming 11 hour international flight and don’t want to be upright the entire way.

I have a flight from JFK to TLV which is around 11 hours I believe. That seat is available but I'm scared about doing it for a flight that long. Has anyone sat in it for a long haul flight?
Definitely the better choice for a long flight on economy. As long as it’s not the last row since those do not recline.

Maybe it's the best economy seat on this B777-200, but it's not ideal for person who hold the camera to film outside like me because it's further from the window.

I’m sorry that seats way worse than any main cabin extra window seat. Who cares about a little space to the side of your seat. That’s a horrible seat for long haul, very hard to sleep with that gap though

Seats back there are only 17inches..
Spirit Airlines is one of the worse airlines I ever flown on. The economy seats were paper thin and DO NOT RECLINE! All food or drinks will cost you a arm and a leg.

I agree that his new narrated format is enjoyable. I didn't mind his accents too much, but I don't particularly enjoy the music he puts in his new formatted videos. I wish he would bring back the upbeat intro music he used to use, and have the music in his videos be something that he composed with the instruments he plays. I do still enjoy watching thejazzguy13 Aviation, but I think his videos would be a bit better if he changed the music (and brought back the old intro music).
