I honestly wonder if he was trying/going to come out about his relationship with Tul after his New York trip last year bc he was being very obvious during that trip. He even called tul baby twice during it. I think tul is a very sensitive person, but also has future business plans, so when he realized the amount of hate that would come down on him, he told mew not to say anything. It could also probably hurt his future business relations if people know that he's gay. Anyway, I think now they're just doing their thing. Mew may be having fun leaving clues, but the fans that aren't selfish are having fun with his clues. I don't personally see anything wrong with it, and I guarantee if the clues pointed toward gulf, most fans wouldn't have a problem with it either. Although they acted together and did all those promotions/fan meets, it was all for show... nothing more, nothing less. They went their separate ways.
