Then you learn how much Lostbelt Morgan endured, that she actually thinks Mordred is a pretty good Knight (probably more praise than her mother gave in her entire life) and THIS Morgan might actually be a decent parent, and then it just feels sad.
Not really. I get what Morgan was trying to do by teaching Baobhan Sith to be cruel and evil so that she doesn't get taken advantage of. But Remember, it was her daughter's death that ended up getting her killed. Which is probably some ironic karma at play. She's still pretty neglectful in all honesty. Like letting her daughter hang around Beryl Gut of all people? Who only supported her sadistic antics and made her a worse person... still a pretty shit parent.
