In this version after he pins you to his chest he roars to the skies with some more fire effects, then he will shoot a flamethrower right at his chest and do a triple nuke right after, before finally throwing you off. -The technical third pin is when you stand in the middle of the phase transition and get hit by the pin animation he does to get to the middle, if you get pinned by this you die in the lava pool
They could’ve just reskinned a normal Fatty and give it new attacks and then call it a day. But no, they went out of their way to create this incredible and extraordinary mod. Mad respect to the Resurgence team.

@??? pg3d nah that’s where you are wrong.Old fatalis are not hard at all,new gen fatalis are much harder but we still have easier time hunting them because of new and improved combat systems and quality of life improvement.Put the fatalis in World into freedom unite with clunky combos and see if anyone survive him bruh,i get it,old hunters like to dick ride old monster hunter game because that makes them seem like veteran hunters but truth is truth,old gem fatalis are just a walking sandbag with slow attack that took 2/3 of your life which is pretty stupid and unfair
Looks like a big difficulty spike from White Fatty if you ask me And damn, choosing an enitre different locale to spawn the thing was brilliant and probably took a LOTTA effort, and was definitely worth it. What a great mod team man

The first Fatalis i was able to successfully kill. (MH4U) I couldn’t kill Fatalis, but when I got the Crimson Fatalis quest, I was determined. And I did it! This is awesome. Not only the BEAUTIFUL ARMOR, but THE FIGHT.
It is absolutely gorgeous. And i can't see any BS either, its a really well designed fight...well, maybe the heatwave attack, but then again the original had that one as well

It is no longer a variant, simply Crimson Fatalis being on fire. The mod team are genius. Capcom should bring Crimson and White Fatalis mod to the main game.

I should probably mention the fact that this Mod has 2 quests for Crimson Fatalis, the normal version and the Event Difficulty version... the former has 5 faints with a 50 minute timer and the latter has 3 faints with a 35 minute timer and higher stats
Woa, it was the best mod I've seen in a good time!! The only thing that felts was the meteors, but it doesn't matter considering how well done is the battle.
This is badass, I was hoping it'd be on a new deeper level of the Elders recess but Teostra's lair works fine, hopefully we get something like this in MH6
one of if not the best mod I've ever seen. literally looks like it was meant to be in the game originally! there are occasional weird looking fireballs but who cares! the attention to detail is insane. all the weapons look like the original but with the crimson flare to it. and a twist. the even got the horn right. but I swear to jebus himself if that armor is weak to fire imma be so mad but eh what can you do lol. 11/10 modders did amazing!
This mod is magnificent and how Capcom should have implemented Crimson since it takes place inside the volcano and if they added Crimson to the game this is exactly how it should be being one of my all time favorites from the series hands down
Oh no they took everything that made him difficult! The janky leg hitboxes and collision hitboxes! 😂 Seriously though this is an amazing mod! I’ve fought crimson fatalis more times than you can count in GU and the similarities are very sweet and you kept it the roughly same height which I adore.
I have always felt a draw towards the element of fire, if i were to be a fantasy character, I'd be a pyromancer, now when you think of fire dragons most think of the red dragons from dnd, but this guy! Holy actual hell! Safi has some might big balls to call himself the "Red Dragon." This mod really tells you who and what a true RED DRAGON IS! He is so god damn beautiful! Those scales, the magnificent fiery glow that just emanates rage and the fury of the sun, an all acompasing flame that leaves naught but ash in it's wake. Crimson Fatalis is a true Fire Dragon.
I haven’t been this amazed at a MHW mod since the white fatalis mod….. which is understandable GREAT work resurgence! These mods are official quality! Just…. 👏👏👏👏👏 **applause**
One of the main reasons why I love that Monster Hunter is coming to PC. World may be dying on consoles but I am happy to see modders come together and give us more. Also excited for Rise PC, can’t wait to see what will become of that game.
This game shall soon have its own "Monster Unlimiter" modloader soon, where it will have monsters and custom armors be inserted ingame without replacing anything in Vanilla
My only cons would be the 2nd phase color scheme which I find to fancy, and makes it look like a toy. But this was already an issue in MH4U, so I guess the guys had to rely on it. Insane job btw, gg to them
I really like phase 2 here, it's really good. But honestly, I wish it had the phase 1 of the other Crimson Fatalis mod, where they changed up and made his fire attacks more brutal overall Overall though, good mod!

The team behind this and the White Fatalis mod are wizards. There is no other way to explain how they do this kind of stuff other than magic.

White fatty isn't fully finished, when the whole Resurgence modpack is done white fatalis will have some more changes and be a lot hardee
