- This is a review of Violet Craft's Elephant abstractions Quilt pattern. It is a Foundation Paper Piecing Pattern (FPP) and is a really big undertaking... ooh! You're in for such a beautiful finished quilt. I truly love Violet craft... but you need the patience for it. Best of luck to you! also check out Instagram and look for the hashtags. There are many examples out there of beautiful color combinations!
It looks amazing! I've cut out the pieces, but have a block re colours! I've seen some gorgeous ones in gray, yellow, orange, magenta etc. Beautiful job!

I highly recommend doing it because it is a HUGE rush of an accomplishment!
The elephant quilt is stunning. After that quilt I would suggest a scattered windows quilt. Look it up on RUclips.

What do you think about combining pieces 36 and 37, and then 71 and 72 before stitching so it doesn't have all those seams?
I followed everything in the pattern by the letter. It was too overwhelming for me to try and figure things out on my own. I would love to see how yours turns out! It was a great pattern 😘
