I am 51 and will be retired in the next four to eight years. Glad I lived during the good years and have saved for my retirement. I joke with my siblings that we should build a small compound in the forest but as things just seem to get worse, it seems less like a joke. To the youth, I say, enjoy your technology, but I don’t think your world will be better for it.
I will graduate school next year, with how f*ked the economy were right now and less demands for jobs, I will just prepare myself to have a strong mindset if I ended up starve to death.
Stop using minimum wage as an excuse for why some workers don’t make more. Even McDonald’s pays more than minimum wage. I personally haven’t made minimum wage in 19 years. And I have spent the majority of my working life at McDonald’s.
These companies forget that robots don't go out spend money on their products. Complete automation would destroy the economy. It's hard to sell your products to people who lost their job to a robot.
If everything is replaced by robots/AI, then u will need people to make sure they run properly every single day. So employment opportunities are generated. And people buy products because it is their necessity or the need to satisfy their luxury demands . So people will still buy that.

@multiple careers I agree, in this day and age we all need multiple streams of income, it’s stupid to just rely on one source of income and also invest in stocks like cryptocurrency, I think money will be going digital and it will be a cashless society soon that’s where I think the future is heading so invest in those type of stocks.

they have sex robots already which you can customize to your liking boob size and all and they talk to you blink open mouth and at 1st looks like real person lol so they got that category covered as well haha I just searched on youtube there are videos explaining how she works name is realdoll
AI is getting very good at understanding the content of videos though. We just need to teach them what effects and transitions to use based on context.
I don't buy that. If an AI system can look through millions of videos and watch how they're edited, they can learn. Usually, what we think of as instincts are just rational thoughts that we can't pinpoint the source of.
I’ve put in countless hours working my butt off in a factory and being a full time student to become an accountant and then I see this video and I’m instantly devastated.
Eh, I wouldn't worry too much about accounting. Imo that shouldn't even be on the list. Globalization, a growing economy, and a complex tax and regulatory environment are expected to continue to lead to strong demand for accountants. As the economy grows, accountants will continue to be needed to prepare and examine financial records. However, I do believe that some routine accounting tasks may be automated as platforms like cloud computing, AI, and blockchain become more widespread. That would allow accountants to become more efficient but I doubt the change will reduce overall demand for accountants.
Me too. I'm a 2nd year student and studying really hard to become an accountant but after watching this video...it's making me worry about my job opportunities after college.

In order to be in demand you need to be the engineer building the new tech, or the software engineer building the language to run said tech. If your not in the front of the industry you will be on the global wage being talked about. There is a growing industry that uses prefabricated parts to construct buildings now. All the wiring is installed in a factory and assembled onsite by low skilled workers. I don’t know what that means for residential construction tho. I doubt it will be happening anytime in the next 20 years. Plus a robot can’t do remodeling yet either or custom/new work electrical or plumbing. I think that these predictions are still very optimistic too. It will take longer to implement automated construction across the industry than 10-20 years. But no doubt it’s coming, hard to say when.
Humans need not be lazy in the face of the impending mass-extinction of jobs. If machines come in and remove the heavy work and the mundane day-to-day tasks that eat up so much of our time when we're not at our jobs-- if our education is re-oriented to have a greater emphasis of STEM, business, and the arts-- if UBI and universal Healthcare are implemented in the US, taking the pressure off people to work shitty jobs like fast food and accounting-- we'd see a revival in the arts and sciences. Who ever dreamed of being a bean counter or burger flipper when they were a child? When asked what they want to do for a living, children almost universally respond with things like veterinarian, musician, painter, politician, inventor-- things that resonate with the humanity within them. Given the opportunity, people want to do work that gives them meaning in an otherwise indifferent universe. Boredom and laziness are what happen when wasteful distractions and menial work are substituted for opportunity and training.

Starlight Channel ....I respect your point. But I study people by talking to them more than anyone I see anywhere. There's something I'm observing way too often about young people. They have very few social skills and avoid casual conversation. I'm guessing it's because their world is now in the palm of their hands with their new best friend. Their phone screen. I track details like nobody does. Then start connecting dots. Let them laugh all they want at me. It's too hard to put into words how I believe its so abnormal for a human being to act. I wont be surprised when the "phone" feature will start being offered as an option. Then eliminated. In a million years, we may not even have mouths like we do now. No joke.
A lot of truth there, we give them phones at 5 y/o and by the time they're 18 they're walking around bumping into walls and can't make a decision without checking and getting the approval 397 friends on social media before they can make a decision. These young adults are ill equipped and lack work ethic to even enter the workforce at entry level menial jobs. We did it to ourselves.
Do over .....I believe the fish rots from the head down. It's no coincidence the chosen names are "smartphones" and "social media". In so many ways, it's turning out to be just the opposite. Always follow the money (among other details) when connecting the dots. Dummied down people getting addicted to abnormal behavior is not "smart" or "social". (socially well adjusted) Just look at the worst criminals blue collar or white collar. Most have psychological issues. Why is this not a major topic worthy of in depth media reporting? Psychology is rarely talked about?!?! It's not what we see, it's about figuring out what we should be seeing but don't.

New Opportunities will appear, while others disappear, it has been the same dilema since the beginning of the industria revolution in the late 1880's. Still humans will be needed, and technology will speed up, we will be in 10 years even beyond what we see in science fiction movies. I feel that the biggest changes will be not only in technology but in the economy with the theory of basic salary, less working hours per week, the downsize of office space, health will change, people will be longer as soon as cloning and the stem cell revolution become common changes in philosophy that will impact religion, politics extremes will eventually disappear in the large scale, although still extremists will exist but in smaller scale, and much more..

I don't own a Tesla but the last time I had a flat tire, I called my Visa card's auto club and someone in a small car (i.e. NOT a tow truck) showed up and fixed it. The operator asked if I were in a safe place before advising me to keep my cell phone on. I had constant communications via texts regarding where they were and he called when he was near my location. Where automation played a role was in connecting the operator with a network of contractors who can solve small problems like flat tires, dead batteries, and lost keys. BTW, I do know how to change a flat tire. But I also know I can't tighten the bolts enough for safe highway driving.

I remember when they said teachers/professors will no longer be necessary because we will learn from computers or it will be online. We have more teachers than ever.
You wouldn't be here then. Majority of students are actually learning from youtube and google. Schools and college degree are useless as you can acquire skills that are trending in market through online. There are robo-advisors and chat bots in every application we use. Maybe you need to learn how software field has evolved. Ignorance is bliss.
But they don't teach anything. I just graduated high-school and all 7 classes of each 4 years were instructed 90 percent through pre-made lessons on computer programs. Lectures were actually not permitted either. Teachers are quite literally professional babysitters.
Teachers at the lower levels of schooling are necessary because they help you learn how to interact with other humans and other basic skills that can't be taught through a screen but I think by the time you're ready to focus on deeper academic subjects you can just learn all of that online.

Discount all the people that blame the rich. Or that are afraid of big companies. Because they are simply cowards. And VERY uninformed about the nature of mankind. The more poor a people are the more inventive they become. You can more easily see this realization with an English proverb "Necessity is the root of all invention". Yes, it's true that the gap between the haves and the have nots is getting bigger. But the very nature of the digital revolution is driving costs of material goods more and more in the direction of Moore's law. If you don't know what that is... Shit, you've been living under a rock. And here is the kicker. The poor are NOT getting more poor. They simply are not getting rich at the pace people with money are. And the fact that there is significant proof of lowering prices. And the perceived fear of being left behind will energize our technological development at astronomical places unthinkable just five years ago. Note what I'm saying here. Because there are MANY futurist that speak of our tech. But I don't think they have considered this MAJOR social driver. Especially amongst our young men. Who are by leaps and bounds been checking out of society. Because feminism has reprehensibly and repeatedly told them how useless/evil they are. But once they say fuck it, and fuck you society, they will be a major driving force. Like I say take note. 5-8 years from today the world as we know it now will not exist...
It will just become like before women entered the workforce. We will need less labor so for wages to be driven up a large part of the population will have not to be part of the labor force.

You really need to know where the food is coming from in your Farmer's Market. I watched a documentary where people were buying the produce from major food suppliers, taking the stickers off the fruit and veggies then raising the prices and promoting them as "locally grown." Nothing was being gained except for a middle man getting wealthy who was acting as a local grower. Ask to visit their farms and see where the food is grown - then you will know for sure.
@@peanutsassyathena That's really rare and not really cost effective. The teachers only monitor their actions. You give it time and there will be no need to leave the house. Students will only need to 'scan-in,' answer a few questions, and the system will take care of the rest. Imagine if this were to happen on a global scale. Success Automated you appear to see the situation as do I. Don't be so fast to new tech. It's slaving us to them. But some feel they'll always be in control because they can turn them off. Problem is in 50 years ppl will rely on computers for so much, without them in 50 years, most will have the IQ of a mentally retarded individual. Ppl already rely on comps for everything. Kids hold phones for security, they'd NEVER unplug them. They'd be LOST. So in 50 years I'll come back with a huge ass EMF bomb, destroy the electrons throughout the entire atmosphere, and no more electricity for a century!!!! Start all over again. That's how this current race of humans will vanish. We won't be able to survive without them. And die as a race. See ya in heaven, I'm 50, lived my life well. F computers as a way of life, just a tool to me, nothing more. Don't need electricity, can survive without it, can you? Really, could you! I don't think but 2% could live without electricity. Doubt that 2%, you go 1 week without any tech. None, ever done a week off the grid? I know say 4 that I know could do it. And I've met thousands of ppl over 50years. So I say most humans are huge pussys to start with. We've become a super soft, fragile race. Unlike everything living, we kill eachother, exact revenge on eachother, kill out of pure greed or hate, we are losers by nature, and I think we're simply low hanging fruit being eaten by aliens like a milky way fast food restaurant. We're a snack pack for really intellectual creatures who DO KNOW how universe got here. We're dump cause they see us as we see cattle or pigs. We don't smarten them up any, as they do same to us!! That's why ur in a cage supplied food and big pens with no ability to leave. You can't even leave ur front door, stranded on the earth human fast food restaurant. I like my humans scared or angry, more hateful humans are, more life force I can suck out of you!! So do hate and kill each other please, I'm in need of a snack.
Success Automated you should get to work on that idea cause I’m in 10th grade right now and I rather learn from home win a system like that and it could just automatically update to fit the students grade level and help the student learn better at there own pace by making the app or device learn the best way for the student to learn mainly cause teachers are trying to do that anyway and a program doing it for them while the human teacher is just fixing errors in software at a office across the world while multiple thousands or millions of children learn daily at their own pace basically you have a good idea for that system and I want it to come sooner than later

It can be done, theres an entire movement named "no-code" to replace software enginers. Theres also Open ai and their "github assistant" replacing mediocre coders.
Deep learning replaces software engineering. Tesla doesn't have programmers learning all the data it's cars collect and building the algorithms manually. Deep learning does that.
One problem with that scenario: the technology isn't quite up to snuff, as self driving vehicles can only drive in the most rudimentary environments and don't work in rainy, snowy, or icy conditions. Even then, you still have legacy vehicles that are going to be driven by people. Then there's the issue of insurance and what will be covered and what will not be. Plus you still need people to unload semi trucks and the merchandise in them. Then there's the issue of energy usage and hacking. All of these computers and AI require energy, but what happens when a natural disaster (earthquake, hurricane, tornado, etc.) knocks out power for an extended period of time? What happens when some cyber terror group hacks the software behind these self driving vehicles and causes it to drive into a brick wall or over the side of the bridge?

North Korea and Iran are building nuclear weapons. If the U.S. would mind its own business and stop stirring up trouble around the world, maybe these countries would not feel the need to protect themselves from the Big Kid On The Block.
What people don't realize is that with all this "automation" if there is no one TO SELL TO (because all the common people have lost their jobs to automation), then there won't be any need for these companies in the first place!! There are an extremely limited number of "wealthy people" and the wealthy people are not going to spend all their money in the economy. It is the regular folks, including the middle class that drives the consumerism and business. Smart companies understand this concept!!
If that's not true, I don't know what it is. Amen to that! I believe the AAA Wave (Automation, Algorithms, AI ) will make our real estate even more valuable and most certainly reduce the amount we have to pay in expenses and management.
Very true guys! Buy and hold real estate is the safest bet one could park their money in. No matter what market we're in, people/robots will always need a place to stay. Save your money and buy rental property, then scale up from that one property. You won't regret it.

Truck drivers will never go away. Driving is only one part of a truck drivers job. Computers can drive the truck for the driver out on the open road but a driver will always be in the cab ready to takeover and exit the highway to make the pickup or delivery. That means backing into a dock after opening the trailer doors or chaining down a load on a flatbed trailer and tarping the load to protect it from the elements. I am a flatbed driver. I stop every 100 miles or so and inspect the load to make sure it’s not coming loose from its securements. Don’t even get me started on hazmat and oversized loads. Those loads are watched closely every inch of the trip and federal and state laws dictate a driver is always in attendance within a few feet of the truck. No, truck drivers aren’t going anywhere but their job may get easier.
Never go away? Have you seen the types of robots that are being made nowadays? There are robots that are walking, running, jumping, picking things up etc. Yeah, it's very rudimentary now, but with how quickly technology is advancing in this day and age, it's only a matter of some decades before we start seeing the first Humanoid robots doing physical work. Eventually, Humans won't be needed for any physical labor, as manufacturing the bots will be cheaper, and the tech will be far more advanced.
if people stop embracing all this AI crap it'll go away. don't buy the stupid self driving cars, stop using all this cashless crap like apple pay/google wallet etc, and support businesses that promote human interaction and workers. the people who try to promote this stuff try to make it "trendy" and "cool" when in reality its going to be a nightmarish future.
BLACKAAROW I agree 100%... the future isn't written yet, we still have choices to make that will ultimately decide what happens- I always prefer interacting with people vs. machines when given the option
But the goods you are buying EVERYWHERE are being made by machines! That shirt you are wearing? Likely made at least mostly by an automated machine! Your car? Made by machines! And, don't fall for the higher price scam. That's just expensive branding. Most of the expensive brands do exactly what every other brand does, and use mechanically manufactured goods, and sell them to you at higher prices. Do you know a brand called apple? They are over-priced with their products, and almost all of them are made by machines!
It will not. Future AI will have watched every movies that exist, every book that exist, it will read also every possible online comunnications. It will learn how we operate emotionaly. It will be then much better psychologist that we can imagine.
Who is gonna change the flat tire on the self driving taxi? The passenger? A robot in the trunk. AAA? I guess robot repairman is the job of the future. All humans replaced by robots should use their last pay check to buy an E.M.P device and go to war with the robots and the greedy corporations.
For Frank Justis: A driverless service truck pulls up. A combination wheeled jack and tire dismount and mounter replaces the tire and torques the lug nuts. The AI of the truck asks the AI of taxi, where are you taking the customers? Answer, " to the factory." The truck asks, "Are they workers?" No, says the Taxi, "rather they are parts for new AIs."
The corporations are not "greedy", what does that even mean? The goal of capitalism is to be "greedy", is it not? The corporations are LOGICAL. If you were paying 100 people to do all types of simple, repetitive physical tasks, and you suddenly had the option to only have to pay 5 of them, and you could replace the other 95 with infinitely cheaper, more efficient, constant, tireless robots that don't take breaks and don't ask for raises, then it wouldn't even be a choice. You wouldn't have to think twice. You'd do it in a heart beat. Humans have simply become obsolete. Be angry at your inferior emotional programming, not at the machines or the companies that utilize them.
@Tamera Bonner when they have robots to do everything, nobody will have a job. Who's gonna buy their goods and services? Guess they won't need so many people, see the Georgia Guide Stones.
Those jobs will involve some kind of knowledge in science, math, or electrical/electronics technology. However, most people don't have the aptitude to retrain for those jobs.
Sutapa Mazumdar right now if we speak about india , there are very few ppls who have actual working knowledge of fields like computer, electronic. Ppls having knowledge of computer industry will required more .
I hope not. I LOVE actually shopping. and, I never get the size right when I order online, I hate it. maybe for other things but definitely not clothes. sometimes other than size, quality is not good, just like every other internet thing, (dating websites, facebook, instagram, etc. )it's not what it seems.
20 years from now you will want to look back at this and see what they got right, and what never developed. Based on history - only 1 or 2 or these predictions will happen.
Exactly, we create machines to help us do our jobs better but you cant really teach these machines to work on their own, therefore most people are (will be) machine operators (or drivers, technicians, engineers) talking from my own experience. Also construction is a lie, there are a lot of new stuff there that is true but you need sooo much people to make a house or any kind of building.
I live in a large farming community. A lot of those large John Deer tractors can already operate remotely. The farmers sit in their living rooms and operate those tractors. Some of those machines like the combines ( wheat harvesters) have gps systems that know where every seed is planted. So, when it's time to harvest the computer remembers and nothing is left behind. It's pretty fascinating all of this technology.
I’m an accountant/auditor, my take: 1. Disagree, Accounting is here to stay. Accounting (and technically finance) are the only two majors that truly talk about financials and what they mean. So long as money is used, yes it will always be relevant and is why accounting is nicknamed “the foundation of business”. Therefore, those with accounting majors have been know to easily flow into other business-related roles like controller, CFO, management, audit, finance (accounting and finance overlap in some areas, not the same thing; most finance can’t do accounting), and corporate law 2. Accountants don’t just crunch numbers all day, that’s only a fraction and more of a stereotype. AI (at most) could do the manual, repetitive processes like data entry and routine reconciliations, made easier with accounting software used to process the large amount of financial data. Accountants go further by actually analyzing and interpreting financial data to help managers and end-users (who usually have no idea how to read a financial statement) to make decisions about the business as a whole. The only transition that accountants will need now and in the future is good computer skills, which is why many accounting degrees have evolved to include “business analytics” courses. 3. Two things certain in life, death and taxes. Keep in mind that every workplace (ex: hospital, company, nonprofit) is a business nevertheless that revolves around the flow of money in and out. Poor accounting is an easy way to bankrupt a company from the inside or get audited by SEC or gov auditors (most of which have accounting degrees) that oversee companies/markets.
@@ahmetesattatl5981 never, corporates will never give the decision making part of chartered accountants , CPAs to bots , also there is always a new shit which appears everytime like new accounting standard , new law , new tax sections which an algorithm can't do..also algorithms work on past feeded data , here in accounting every second day every thing changes...so buddy no worries for CAs/ Cpa , but mere repetitive book keepers may be obsolete..
So, this means we will lose our jobs, and go on welfare? How is the politicians, police, fire, and ambulance systems going to work, if there are fewer jobs, and less taxpayers? I hope that mess doesn't happen while I'm alive.
Rebecca Lucas Yeah girl right on point, Since nobody will have a job. This machines won't have nobody to serve. Since there won't be any more money to pay for them. So we all going to be unemployed humans and machine.
Alot of tech billionaires favor the idea of universal income, in where everyone gets paid the same income because of the massive decrease in the human workforce, but it's basically a global scale welfare program that most people can not avoid. And it most likely won't happen on a large scale while you're alive, but you will begin to see the sudden changes.

For robots.
In order to be in demand you need to be the engineer building the new tech, or the software engineer building the language to run said tech. If your not in the front of the industry you will be on the global wage being talked about. This is the future of our children, get them programming computers at 3yrs of age so it’s their second language and your kids have a chance. Or you starve, can’t travel long distances, nor will you have options to buy things such as homes cars medical etc. Your life will be chosen for you. Automated lives will suck, but only for those who know different, for those who grow up in it it will be normal and hard to question.
Depends on what field in construction. I highly doubt electricians and plumbers will be phased out by AI
What about maintenance workers in the cities government sector?
@@michael3343 I'm an industrial mechanic. My job is going to increase for the foreseeable future. Unless the robots Will fix themselves I'm ok. Always need wrenchers
It is necessary for humans to keep the robots in check, so I definitely believe electricians will still be around
Why do you doubt that?
slowly we are turning into WALL-E's world with all the robots and lazy poeple
Scary right
Humans need not be lazy in the face of the impending mass-extinction of jobs.

My thoughts exactly. Like the individuals who enjoy riding with a live driver for a change : )
The only downside is that the need for humans will be decreased significantly. There is no way all 7 billion of us will stay alive during such an era.
I do not work in any of these occupations however I do not want other people to loose their job.
I agree, we should also consider demolishing all factory robots so there will be more jobs for everyone. That way, we can hold society back, ruin productivity, efficiencies, and ensure people can be paid minimim wage for doing a soul destroying boring jobs. Great idea pal

Schools- Online education is already on the go.
Online education can never replace schools
Will see.
@@nancyfloressantos9999 I think you are correct. Online education will change the things. Plus many low skilled teachers in India shall also lose their job if we start having live call classes over a Skype. Like one teacher teaching 1000 or more students at different location connected with Skype call. This will give a consistent quality
So the format of an educator/teacher’s job may change but not the need for them
Aakash Srivastava I wish that was true. But just look around. Who has the money to keep up with the rising cost of education? Have you been in a grade school, middle school or high school lately? Who do you think is buying extracurricular materials? In many cases the teachers! I think we are headed for a different type of system that supports our teachers and students more. No fault of the folks working in the industry, it's just that technology is changing every industry. This is not news I don't think.

So instead of debating over what should or shouldn't happen, we need to focus on what jobs are going to be in demand in the future! I don't see too many videos about the future jobs. In order for there to be consumerism, consumers need to have an income in order to consume! These automations are going to happen whether we like them or not!!! Unfortunately, like all things in this world, everything is subject to fail. Machines and technology are no different.
That's because
1) No one really knows what they will be.
2) They will probably require IQ levels that only a minority possess.
Yes I know the job that is in
demand in future that is. Eat, sleep and go to the toilet
It's possible that there won't be enough jobs to sustain the population in the future.
shower4all: Right! And those are the new jobs of the future, mechanics to fix the machines and programmers to update the AI. We can consume without the mechanism of money. Money will be a thing of the past. The big problem will be, "What to do with all the time you'll have?" See the world. Write a book. Paint a picture. Just have fun. Our every movement will be monitored so crime is out. They will spot you the moment you step out of line.

You forgot Artists and authors cause ai can now replicate art styles and also make sentences, paragraphs and stories. I wouldn't be surprised if all jobs get taken over and man how unemployed most will be but this will ruin the economic cycle as companies need workers cause workers in the long run end up buying their products but if unemployed can't purchase which means we making a huge hole in the system. This video definitely needs an update since we in 2022 and ai is taking over the art community as we speak.
Wonder if a Tesla car can change a tire. Or dig it self out of the snow bank.

XD XD XD XD@@DJMARTIN73
I don't own a Tesla but the last time I had a flat tire, I called my Visa card's auto club and someone in a small car (i.e. NOT a tow truck) showed up and fixed it. The operator asked if I were in a safe place before advising me to keep my cell phone on. I had constant communications via texts regarding where they were and he called when he was near my location. Where automation played a role was in connecting the operator with a network of contractors who can solve small problems like flat tires, dead batteries, and lost keys.
BTW, I do know how to change a flat tire. But I also know I can't tighten the bolts enough for safe highway driving.
look into runflat tires and tire pressure monitoring systems, this problem was solved in the 70s
And then... Teleportation. #infinitegame
There's a McDonald's in near my neighborhood that doesn't have cashier's you order and pay with these touchscreens imbedded in the walls, and you just wait for the cook to call you to collect your food from the counter. Cashier's are already done tbh.

Yes. And this is the way the elite are going to deal with the environmental emergency that is population overshoot.... by impoverishing the multitude.

Some people barely have time to buy groceries. How much time do you think they need to grow their own? how much space? how much knowledge? how much money you need to spend?
Thanks for the You Tube site. I live in an retirement apartment complex. Some of us got together a few years ago and rented out some land to grow our own produce. Costs us a whopping $16.00 a year! lol Getting together with a local rancher to buy and raise our own grass fed beef. I make a lot less money in retirement, but live a healthier life.
They'd have to throw out any unsold produce and since they took the time to go to the store and buy it, there's already one element working against them. Idk, a lot of places label which farms the produce comes from at least where I live.
Reminds me of the flying car predictions. About as accurate too.
Exactly! GARBAGE video. Who produced it? Fake news CNN? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💛
That's what happens when you listen to people who don't know what they're taking about. Flying Cars were predicted in some childish cartoons where the creators didn't know jack shit about physics and practicality 🤦♂️! The things that are mentioned here are all practical as each of them has been done already in small to big scale.
If you can make all traffic automated you won't need flying cars because the core of the problem would be solved. Those people couldn't figure it out so they thought there must be flying cars in the future, but as the technology progresses we can make more accurate predictions.

A big one I see coming is the Teaching profession. They already use Google Chromebooks in the school system where I live. The students sign in and do their assignments. The teachers only monitor their actions. You give it time and there will be no need to leave the house. Students will only need to 'scan-in,' answer a few questions, and the system will take care of the rest. Imagine if this were to happen on a global scale. Education being left in the hands of only a few. This would totally change society. Awareness, people. Awareness!
Success Automated
That's going to be a battle as teachers except for elementary for youngest can be replaced.

What people don't realize is that with all this "automation" if there is no one TO SELL TO (because all the common people have lost their jobs to automation), then there won't be any need for these companies in the first place!! There are an extremely limited number of "wealthy people" and the wealthy people are not going to spend all their money in the economy. It is the regular folks, including the middle class that drives the consumerism and business. Smart companies understand this concept!!
Landlords will never die! Even robots will need a place to "live", get stored! 😁

If demand for goods drops off, there will be a lot less freight to ship.

Tim Smith yup there the ones that are mostly brainwashed
But the goods you are buying EVERYWHERE are being made by machines! That shirt you are wearing? Likely made at least mostly by an automated machine! Your car? Made by machines! And, don't fall for the higher price scam. That's just expensive branding. Most of the expensive brands do exactly what every other brand does, and use mechanically manufactured goods, and sell them to you at higher prices. Do you know a brand called apple? They are over-priced with their products, and almost all of them are made by machines!
I think emotional intelligence will sustain against AI...
Please make a video to show the kind of jobs that would be in demand in the next 10 years.
Those jobs will involve some kind of knowledge in science, math, or electrical/electronics technology. However, most people don't have the aptitude to retrain for those jobs.

Mike McGlock -- what's STEM?
Sutapa Mazumdar right now if we speak about india , there are very few ppls who have actual working knowledge of fields like computer, electronic. Ppls having knowledge of computer industry will required more .
Rahul Shahare thank you :-) so is there a solution to this?
Amazon will close every retail store in America
We will ALL work for Amazon or Alibaba eventually
I hope not. I LOVE actually shopping. and, I never get the size right when I order online, I hate it. maybe for other things but definitely not clothes.
sometimes other than size, quality is not good, just like every other internet thing, (dating websites, facebook, instagram, etc. )it's not what it seems.
And one person gets all the profit.
@@MrTed371 and he is a Democrat
Amazon will not close, retail stores will close and your shopping will all be done online
Futurist thanks for the heads up all the way from London🌹
20 years from now you will want to look back at this and see what they got right, and what never developed. Based on history - only 1 or 2 or these predictions will happen.
Exactly, we create machines to help us do our jobs better but you cant really teach these machines to work on their own, therefore most people are (will be) machine operators (or drivers, technicians, engineers) talking from my own experience. Also construction is a lie, there are a lot of new stuff there that is true but you need sooo much people to make a house or any kind of building.
@@BiMiHi wrong algorithms
I live in a large farming community. A lot of those large John Deer tractors can already operate remotely. The farmers sit in their living rooms and operate those tractors. Some of those machines like the combines ( wheat harvesters) have gps systems that know where every seed is planted. So, when it's time to harvest the computer remembers and nothing is left behind. It's pretty fascinating all of this technology.
I’m an accountant/auditor, my take:
1. Disagree, Accounting is here to stay. Accounting (and technically finance) are the only two majors that truly talk about financials and what they mean. So long as money is used, yes it will always be relevant and is why accounting is nicknamed “the foundation of business”. Therefore, those with accounting majors have been know to easily flow into other business-related roles like controller, CFO, management, audit, finance (accounting and finance overlap in some areas, not the same thing; most finance can’t do accounting), and corporate law
Poor accounting is an easy way to bankrupt a company from the inside or get audited by SEC or gov auditors (most of which have accounting degrees) that oversee companies/markets.
look at this hopeful lol
Ai can easily analyse data and make decisions. There is no job that ai cant replace, including surgeons and artists.
@@ahmetesattatl5981 u don't have sense 🤣.....
WE HUMANS WORKED SO HARD TO BUILD AI BUT THEN
AI WILL GET REPLACE BY HUMANS😭😭😭
So, this means we will lose our jobs, and go on welfare? How is the politicians, police, fire, and ambulance systems going to work, if there are fewer jobs, and less taxpayers?
I hope that mess doesn't happen while I'm alive.
Rebecca Lucas Yeah girl right on point, Since nobody will have a job. This machines won't have nobody to serve. Since there won't be any more money to pay for them. So we all going to be unemployed humans and machine.
Rebecca Lucas Approx 80% of the planets population will be killed off & the remaining 20% will live in socialism.
Well thats when universal income comes into debate
Corporate tax & tariffs. People don't need much money to survive in a community that provides for them.
