Rub N' Buff wax paint comes in a variety of finishes and is under $5 per tube! I love the metallic effect it provides and it does wonders on a metal finish! Perfect for carved furniture and shabby chic projects.

I love Rub & Buff.Esp. in antique gold and silver. I've used it on my coffee table, end tables, mirror frames, & on apliques on a chest of drawers.

I just redid these really boring outdated metal bar stools. I actually chalk painted them with black.. distressed them and then used silver rub and buff to accent the distressing. Omg they turned out gorgeous. Now I'm hooked on rub and buff!! ❤️

Just ordered this and Viva Decor's Inka Gold to try to restore some patchy finish spots on an old brass-colored vanity from the 80s! Thank you so much for the video!

I repainted some very floral, scroll resin picture toppers and applied the antique gold rub n buff to the numerous edges. It looks terrific. A little does go a long way! Thanks for the tutorial - it was very helpful and got me over my nervousness to actually try my hand at it. 🙂👏👍

The other way around mostly on lighter color such this piece of yours. For an alternative how to use this Rub N' Buff is with a painting brush to apply inside the deeps, in the veins of the texture and for the worse if to much been put is to use a cloth or napkin that has some oil baby oil or olive oil and wipe off the extra...

What do you think about using this on a metal bed (original color is dark grey). I could've spray painted it but my daughters wanted it put together lol. I can't stand the grey color.

question...if you apply this stuff over a large smooth area will you see rub or streak marks? im planing to use this over a vanity/stool...first with a silver rub n buff as a base and finish off the edging with the gold. im just curious how the silver looks applied over a large smooth surface...thanks!

I've never tried it on a large surface. I would use a round waxing brush for application if I did. Or even better, use a glaze rather than this wax. :)
