This book is a bit of a monstrosity. I wish the Cthulu on the spine came out better, but oh well. At least the symbol of Azathoth on the cover was easy enough to do well. I know a lot of what was done here was quite unconventional, so hopefully it lasts. If there's any pros who could tell me of any obvious blunders, though, I'd appreciate it.
Like in my last bind, the grain direction is not correct. I'm taking DAS for his word when he says it almost doesn't matter on coptic binds, and hopefully it won't be too much of an issue. Granted, this is far from a normal coptic bind at this point.
Something I failed to mention in the video is that because of the uneven nature of the deckled edge, and because of my thread looping over the ends of the signatures, it was very easy for the sewing holes to get out of alignment. You would probably have less of an issue if you used a clean edged text block.
