I am so thrilled to be able to say I have managed to make one of these glorious squares. I’m relatively new so this was a big challenge for me.
I am also trying to learn how to read patterns or charts to open up new varieties for me - however they just have me flumoxed. Is there a pattern or chart for this block in order that I can put the two things together and recognise what I’m working on please?
I appreciate your thorough explanation of every step.
    With best wishes Louisa 🇬🇧

I didn't put out a tutorial on how to join these specific squares but I do have one on continuous join... if you want you can either use that method and email me to get a modified version for this specific square or there's the sew together method too.

I made this into a bowl cozie❣ i just added two more rows of the bobble stitch. I was using cotton for a potholder n it bowled up on me. Made a wonderfull bowl cozie n still could be used as a potholder! Pretty side is always naturally up too!
Edite: excuse me, it was cluster stitch not bobble stitch. 👀

@@fantasticfiber that is probably the biggest reason I don’t like to do blankets…they take so long & I like to see completed projects. My Mom used to crochet & she said it takes so long to make some of the afghans that you are better to do it for yourself because most people other than fiber people don’t know how much work goes into it. I would make an Afghan big enough to cover my Queen size bed with these squares.
