I'm a Chrtian, and I know God wants us to keep His Commandments. I'm tired of the illiteracy in the Christian world, too. It's so frustrating! Jesus didn't come to do away with the Law, but to fulfill it
Which is why not every law is applicable.
Abraham was counted righteous because he received command from God and listened, Jesus told you to love one another as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
The law condemns those who try to live by it because you deny the work of God through his son, Daniel 9 tells us the anointed one will come and make atonement and bring an end to sin, so he has for those who believe upon him otherwise do you doubt him?

And, probably because of their corruption of the law, that way, he never specified that it was 'the law' that he would fulfill. Neither did he specify that it was 'the law' that he would not destroy. He never destroyed anything during his life as a human. BY HIS DEATH, he destroyed the works of the devil. In Luke 24:44, he says that he FULFILLED all the Old Testament prophecies concerning him. There is only one law that we can claim was done away with and that is animal sacrifice for sin, because Jesus is our sacrifice now. Interestingly enough, God says through the prophets that He never commanded animal sacrifices, that the scribes added that to the book. God further proves this when He says that if a wicked person turns from their sins and seeks Him wholeheartedly, then they are forgiven. Exactly the same message Jesus taught

Christians will say it is okay to eat pork and shellfish now and the only verses they can quote don't even apply to the food laws to begin with. This has zero to do with circumcision of the flesh or Judaism. That passed with the old covenant. You need to study Hebrews. Paul speaks of all I'm telling you in Hebrews.
There were 3 changes in Torah with the renewed covenant. The Priesthood, sacrifice and the circumcision. All are now in Messiah. Everything you say is completely true except for the SPIRITUAL ASPECT. There is no SPIRITUAL Israelite, Jew, or gentile. We are physical, PERIOD. And we all share in the belief in Yeshua and the cross of Calvary which is our only means of salvation which is through His blood. Get rid of the word SPIRITUAL and you have the truth.

I grappled with Rev. 2:9 & 3:9 and the Jews in Israel today.
It came down to the most important of all...DO YOU LOVE THE BRETHERN? (1 John 2:10-11).
I really think when we JUDGE those saying they are Jews, and then decide to withhold our love, our prayers, our support from them, we are the ones in sin. (We are even told to love and pray for our enemies, and do good to them).
We need to be careful not to be so judgemental that we refuse to LOVE (in action, in prayers, in support of). We need to love and leave the judgement to ABBA Father. HE (whom we say we have Faith in and Believe) will "take care" of the false ones. THAT is NOT OUR JOB.
OUR job as Brothers and Sisters is to LOVE...NOT JUDGE. Leave the judging to ABBA ... and do your job to LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

I no longer worship on Sunday's. I honor God's Holy Sabbath from Friday at Sundown to Saturday at Sundown. All my Life I was deceitfully mislead to believe that it was Sunday. Doing some deep research, I learned that the roman emperor Constantine changed it from Saturday to Sunday. He had no authority to do that.

@@mezak2432 I would be delighted to answer your question. The Greek text (the Septuagint, I believe) of Matthew 28:1 reads as follows: “Now it is the evening of the sabbaths. At the lighting up into one of the sabbaths.” Mark 16:9 says “Now rising in the morning in the first sabbath…” Luke 24:1 says “Now in the early depths of one of the sabbaths…” And finally, John 20:1 says “Now on one of the sabbaths comes Miriam Magdala in the morning, when it was still dark, to the sepulcher.” What we are reading is a pattern that shows a direct reference, not to the weekly Shabbat, but to the first sabbath of the Savuot (the Feast of Weeks). The Pasach (Passover) and the day following (first day of Chag HaMazot, or Feast of Unleavened Bread) did not occur on the same DAYS of the week every year, but on the same DATES, which were Nissan 14 and 15. It just so happened that the year that Yeshua was crucified and risen, Nissan 14 fell on the 6th day. So Yeshua was the Lamb of the Pasach. Nissan 15 fell on the 7th day. So He was the Bread of life. And the 1st day (also the 8th day of the week?!) He was risen, so He was the Omer, the Wave Sheaf. Remember when Miriam saw Him, thought He was the gardener, and tried to hug Him? He told her “Don’t touch Me, because I haven’t ascended to My Father yet.” He still needed to present His own blood as a wave offering before the Father. It’s simply incredible how everything we have done for millennium has pointed forward to Yeshua!

Tertullian- 160 CE first coined the word "Trinity." This word was used before the Catholic church even existed. Tertullian, Origen, and Agustine came from Northern Africa. Regarding Kippah, or perhaps head coverings, I used to be against them also because I hate the rabbinic traditions that challenge the law, but I started understanding differently when studying the attire of the priests, who were closest to the presence of God and were commanded to have their heads covered with caps and turbans. I began praying with Kippah and tallith which I made from things already in my closet and I can't explain the blessing that I began to experience. I do not find it shameful to pray without tallith, but something about having my head and vision blocked off that helps break away from this world and focus so much deeper in prayer.
Maybe someone else can help explain this more theologically? I simply read the passages about the priests and desired to experience it for myself as a priest and found blessing

Not many people think that the church replaced Israel. Those are people that don’t know much about the scripture.
It would be quite easy to misconstrue this message into a works-based faith, especially with the temperament used to express this idea. The Torah is written on our hearts, but that does not mean we need to keep the 613 commands lest Yeshua cast us away.

Mt Gerizim was the seat of 10 tribes of Israel in Samaria while Jerusalem was the seat of the 2 southern tribes of Judah. ( Judah and Benjamin). The northern tribes held the Birthright and the southern tribes held the Sceptre. 2 Chronicles 5:1-2.
The Birthright went to the 1st born son. Jacob had 2 wives Leah and Rachel. Reuben was the 1st born of Leah but he defiled his father's couch so the Birthright was given to Joseph 1st born of Rachel.

Unsaved Jews are not being replaced, they have the same choice to except their messiah infact they had first choice. Salvation came from the Jews!! We are saved by grace through Faith in Jesus finished work. NO confidence in the flesh. NOT under the law, Trying to be saved by the law is putting yourself under a curse. YES follow the law, it is simple no biggy, written on your heart. not sure why everyone makes such a big deal out of it. that is where it gets us in trouble. I dont know of any Christian that goes to church because they are worshiping the sun. Jesus IS our eternal Sabbath. We can rest on saturday and go to church on sunday. break bread. I was listening for this the whole time and got a bunch about Paul being a Jew, being an Israelite, the Pharisees, peanut butter and tea in China.
The Danes are from the tribe of Dan. The Goths are from the tribe of Gad. The Jutes are also from the tribe of Judah along with most of the Judeans (Jews), and the name "Saxons" is literally an abbreviation for "Isaac's sons."
Most of us ARE actually descendants of Israel's scattered tribes, especially the northern ones.

Paul didn't say we are grafted into Israel. That's man made doctrine. Paul's says we are grafted in AMONG Israel. But before he said that, he said that Israel is fallen and diminished (Romans 11:11-12). Are we fallen? No Israel is fallen. They must be saved the same way we are saved today (Acts 15:11). Israel is blinded until this Dispensation of Grace for the Gentiles is over. Romans 11:25. We are not Israel. Israel is (will be) Israel.

I'll never understand why most Christians believe in replacement theology we are not replacing the Israelites they are & always will be his people. We are just grafted in to olive 🫒 tree as far as I know grafted in is different than replacing. I think replacement theology has racist origins.
Replacement theology changed the perspective of one's understanding about the Scriptures and the message it conveyed. It removes the original context of scripture and replaced it with the understanding of the Scriptures through means of translations in a Western/Greek mindset.
Replacement theology is a terrible name. There is only one people's of God not two.
It's about Spirit and not flesh. You're right, and this is how you end up with Black Hebrew Roots etc. People turn the Gospel into a racial debate.

I couldn't agree more. The shameful number of church pastors/leaders who teach and promote replacement theology indicates just how bereft the seminary's are in teaching bible college students what the Abrahamic covenant is and why it can't be done away with. Obviously they don't understand it (or perhaps they do and it's really just satanic anti-semitism at work) but either way they're cranking out pastors who then pass it on to their congregations . It's appalling! I absolutely have no tolerance for it.

Just asking because when I did some researching of the Jewish history on Judaism I ran onto a lot of that even with some Christians. not knowing nothing about it, but figured it was Not part of original Torah?? what is your thoughts on this? thank you. The Pope sure is a mess and getting worse every day. I find it strange the world leaders go for Catholicism. Part of one world religion soon.
