    The Andalusian horse 🐎 (Pure Spanish Breed) has had a fundamental role in the formation of European and American equine breeds, such as the Hispano-Arab, Hispano-Breton, the Friesian, Mexican Creole, the Aztec, the Lipizzan, the Kladruber, the Peruvian passing through, the Mustang, the Alter Real and the Lusitano.

    These are the most magnificent animals I can imagine, and the relationship between horse and rider is not only honorable, it is quite noble. And people say horses are happier left in the wild. Everyone is happier with a job--a productive life, and good, strong relationships. A cowboy trainer I hired could not work with my horse and sent him home. He said he reared up at him. Well, he's part Andalusian; it's in his blood to rear up!

    What beautiful and magnificent animals. They are part of my top 3 favorite breeds along with Friesians and Quarter Horses (Due to their speed and power). My uncle has a Chocolate Palomino Quarter Horse named Trigger, who is HUGE for a Quarter Horse at almost 17 hands. He is absolutely stunning and does western shows. He can dance and Slide stop (even though my uncle doesn't do that to him any more since it is hard on his legs.

      +Sitizen Kane Trigger? Now that is funny. My father's quarter horse is also HUGE and he's golden. He should have been named Trigger. His name is Attila; probably because of his size. @@adamabraham2076 The Barb is a different breed than the Andalusian/Pura Raza Epanola/PRE. The Iberian peninsula had its own horses in ancient times, thousands of years before the Andalusian and Lusitano (a Portuguese breed very closely related and similar to the PRE) were developed. Modern genetic studies show that the Barb of North Africa and the Iberian horse/Andalusian interbred and influenced each other's bloodlines, but they came out of separate lineages. The breeds are related, they have some similarities, but they are different breeds.

      Whips are used as the extension of the arm, not as a harmful device. the bits are snaffle types, which are light. the horses are on a contact with a soft hand. However, I do agree that they can be trained without all this, as I do Liberty work with my Arab mare. they do thrive of it.

  • @Velocityraine

    Pretty horses but id wish people would use bits that are more comfortable for the horses, you can see the foaming mouth and there mouths open slightly,it means the bit hurts. Like eating needles.

    • @freddyaltina2737
      @freddyaltina2737 5 лет назад +5

      selena caraballo A foaming mouth is actually a good sign, it means acceptance of the bit. It's a good thing. And some horses open their mouth slightly to relieve pressure, some do it habitually, some do it to escape discomfort if the rider has harsh hands and is too harsh on the mouth. Some gape their mouths for no reason at all. Can be a sign of discomfort, but not always! So I think it's important not to cast judgement too easily. But the foam is definitely a good sign! :)

    • @anniedeklerk8858
      @anniedeklerk8858 4 года назад

      Foaming mouth is generally caused by the horse being Relaxed, focused and on the contact.

      Horses are naturally Lazy Animals - They really love what they are doing as they get well cared for - lots of good things to eat and a nice clean stall to sleep in ! Most of my life i wished i could of been a Horse instead !

    The nose band is literally right on the top of the nasal (I think bone) which can cause fractures, it can also cause numbness in that area. The headpiece is on a sensitive area where the brain is which is where the very sensitive nerves are which is bad for the horse. Literally all parts of the bridle are harmful to the horse.
