Glad Doc came to his senses and realized how good he had it 💕. I was worried about him being on his own this winter. Love your finishes. Great way to display them.
Deborah, sorry for the additional comment. I was so happy with the news of Doc coming back home that I had to comment right away. Thank you for sharing your Advent celebration and activities with us. Your garlands and Christmas decorations and finishes are just lovely. ❤ I'm so so happy about Doc's homecoming. You have both been in my thoughts and prayers. ❤ God is so good. Joy in deed! 1 🎄🎁❤
@@xstitchinglibrarian Extra comments are always okay! And thank you, my friend! They were fun stitches and decorations to put up. But most of all I'm happy he's home. ❤️
@kensingtoncrossstitch My husband and I have been taking care of the neighborhood's stray cats, and now a possum, for the last three and a half years. There is one cat that we call Ginger because he's an orange tabby. He's friendly with my husband, but will not come inside the house. We put out a heated house for him in the ❄️ winter which he uses sometimes, and always have food and water for him and the others -- sometimes squirrels and birds even eat the cat food. Ginger comes daily and lets my husband pet him but then leaves. It breaks my heart that he is out there in the cold Chicago winter. That is why I was so worried about your Doc. I was praying for his safe return. I'm overjoyed that he is back home with you, but not as much as I'm sure you are. This is such a blessing. Merry Christmas, Deborah. Thank you for all your wonderful videos. I truly have enjoyed every one of them since day one.
@@xstitchinglibrarian Yes, that was the hardest part: he was right there, he was coming by all the time for food, but running away every time he saw movement in the house. He wasn't using the heated bed or going into the shed that I set up as a warmer place out of the weather. But he also proved himself to be a very capable and hearty outdoor cat. It was so hard to watch him choose that over comfort and warmth. I'm really glad he finally changed his mind. Thank you for all your prayers during this time! I hope Ginger will continue to find the comfort he needs from what you provide too. ❤️
Yay! Doc is back inside! You handled that whole thing much better than I would have. Back when I had cats it was always a battle to make sure they didn’t dart outside when a door was opened. Hope you have a happy Christmas! 1
He is! It's been such a good week of him getting resettled in too. He's just as (if not more) snuggly than before. I definitely had some hard moments while he was gone and got to practice my patience. I am even more careful about the doors than before too. Have a wonderful Christmas!
