    Back in the day, these things were quite the "TORQUE MONSTERS"

      This one starts to come on really strong just above 3000 rpm. But I'll save that for upcoming review and comparison videos.

    Oh, sorry, my commenting was about how you're saying that the front brake controls part of the rear, (or visa/versa)

    Hey Jon, I've heard this from another guy on RUclips, so I looked into my own owners manual, I didn't see anything in it saying this. I'm the owner of an '81XS1100H, nearly Identical to this , of yours, just older.

    This Yamaha looks interesting. Wonder how it compares power wise to the other 3 big cruisers.
    Curious if you'll be keeping the unusual fairing. Looks like you have to look through it, big negative for me.

      My GoPro is mounted low on the front of my helmet. I have a clear view over the top so all is well. I plan to do some comparisons with the other muscle cruisers once it is sorted.

      I promise to provide lots of running footage. I've already filmed a post-service test ride video and am planning a ride review and comparison videos. 🙂
