    TSM just finished a multi million dollar restoration, all the Ike damage has been repaired. Elissa is in better shape than ever before.

    well I just want to say thank you! I was on the original construction crew and went back to galveston a year after Ike and she was hunting bad.

    do they ever let anyone ride along when they do the sea trials,it would be a dream of a life time come true

      Yes they do, I was on it this year and plan on doing it again next year. There are two ways that I know of to get invited. One is to a volunteer with them and do service hours with them to get invited, another is to donate to them and they will most likely invite you. Or you could do the sail training program too and become part of the crew and not just sail it, but put it to sail. It's truly beautiful.

    Sas that this ship has been deemed unseaworthy now. Ike did some damage to the ship and no one ever realized it.
