    I lived in Derby for many years, and Matlock & its surrounding area is lovely. The Midland Railway / LMS is a huge part of Derbyshire's heritage.
    Great to see you up & about Rick, and to see you both enjoying yourselves and sharing your day out. Peak Rail has transformed itself in the last decade or so into more of a Didcot-style destination, with far more than a short heritage rail trip to experience. Good luck to all involved. I understand it'll be very difficult to extens the running line further in the future.
    Was that a DeLoren passing through Matlock at 5:19??
    PS: Never underestimate the value of good commentary subtitles to inform the audience. Yours is much appreciated.
    Please feel free to share similar videos in the future 😊

    Another excellent video, liked all the various shunters parked up on your return journey. Ideal weathering subjects. I had a Bachmann ‘Bahamas’ Jubilee many years ago. Yes loved the little electric loco for bombing around on. You will have to treat your layout to a Midland Compound loco….

    Rick an Pauline why do all locos over there always have 5 numbers for their identifing number ??

    • @wellchuffedrailways
      @wellchuffedrailways  6 месяцев назад

      On diesels it's called the TOPS system. The first two numbers are the loco class and the remainder the locos individual number. Cheers Rick
