So pumped to be getting my s22 ultra delivered this Friday. Picked up a brand new 128GB one for just $560. Wanted the S23 ultra but no way I'm paying over $1,000 for a phone lol.

Bt the battery isn't tht grt as it is in s23 ultra. Lasts around 4 to 5 hrs itself
The response time isn't the only difference lol. No use upgrading if you already own the s22 ultra, but if you don't you should buy s23 without a doubt

@Vova Woah, I'm doing the exact same right now. Bought a new S9+ for cheap a few months ago, but deciding I need to step up and S23 ultra it is! But for sure, if you're phone is recent (3 ish years?) then I wouldn't upgrade.
EDIT: For any other S9+ users trying to switch, do it. Can't even notice a big size difference (always have used a big case, otterboxin defender pro)

The S23 Ultra is too damn good, my God… but the S22 Ultra is still a top tier device to get today.
S24 Ultra is way better. It opens apps as fast as an iPhone so is the optimization. S22 Ultra slowed down so much after Android 14.
@@sspeedd8809S24 Ultra is still way out of a lot of people's price ranges. A refurbished s23 ultra is a lot cheaper and has very minimal differences compared to the s24 ultra, so it's definitely worth saving the money
I do agree with the s22 ultra though, the battery issues with it are kinda iffy

The biggest problem is that it has an exynos chip that can overheat way easier than the snapdragon in the s23 series.

Such tests convenience me not to upgrade each year as nothing major there.

I have the s23 ultra. I also have an s22 ultra. For normal everyday use you will not really notice the difference between the s22 and the s23. They are both excellent phones. However you will notice a difference in the s23 for some features and when you're doing processor heavy tasks such as gaming. And in this case the s23 ultras Snapdragon 8 gen 2 really shines and you'll really notice the difference. You'll also notice the difference for the upgraded camera software and stuff. But where you'll notice the biggest difference is the battery. The battery on my s23 ultra is so so much better than my s22 ultra. But they are both excellent phones. And in 2023 the s22 ultra is still a beast

No, it's not that bad. The s23 may last 1 to 1 -1/2 hrs more it depends how you use the phone. 😊

The overheating was a deal breaker for me. My friend has s22 Ultra & it wouldn't last a whole day at all.
I thought about upgrading my s22 Ultra to a s23 Ultra cause honestly the s22 U was not what I expected and kinda a let down. Camera was good, but the shutter lag is annoying. Speakers are weak compared to older models. The S23 Ultra improved on that but the trade-in offers are crap.
So I dusted off my old LG V60 box and slap a 1TB Micro SD card and started using again...just the battery life alone was a big improvement. A better speaker and IMHO better photos with no shutter lag, and its a 3 year old phone! Blows my mind how this is still a better phone!
