Mastering the basics is so crucial. I believe the reason high achievers can only just study 2 hours a day is that because they've been doing that for years and that their fundamentals are already established. In reality, most students (like myself) have not mastered their fundamentals which leads to a longer study time as you have to review your basics again.
Study faster: 1. Ditch easy stuffs: Study hard things first... Things that u dont know ..learn them first. 2. Trick ur brain: Telling yourself that studying is super important... Before studying 20-30sec visualise why u r studying... 3.stop multitasking: It will hamper ur flow state Focus on 1subject at a time Master active recall Practice All past paper exams Space out active recall 2hours deep work after morning routine... Focus without any distractions Master the basics.. Enjoy study sessions Have a nice and cozy environment for enjoying study Become a academic weapon :) (I m really enjoying these contents of this channel, as this channel is unique and doesn't tell u to study 12hours a day.. it tells u about techniques to be followed for better learning and stop wasting time & energy)
I'm so overwhelmed, I have anxiety sometimes and I do not feel very happy when things cannot happen like I want to, I'm failing with time organization, subjects, and I want to make my parents proud I'm a civil engineering student, I only pray to God to give me wisdom, health and good habits, etc. because he has the control in our lives 😭
i've been watching your videos and not only the aesthetic is on point and there are creative shots and great visuals but your content is concise and straightforward while being detailed and giving examples ! you're definitely on the right track and i can't wait to see more coming from you ! much love and success to you collin !
Active recall is very effective guys. I can vouch for it. During my college application and high school graduation exams I couldn't really sit still and study for more than an hour or two with focus. But when I started answering past questions, I found myself doing so much better in my struggling subjects like maths and physics and even chemistry
1. You need to like what you study, thus you will have some degree of performance; 2. You need to have a degree of background and inclination in the subjects to easily score maximum grades; 3. You should dedicate more of the time in repetition and deep learning, then again you will have better results. 4. Once you have more background and your mind starts to comprehend and retain faster, then you will study faster. 5. Enjoy study - very true, studying to work must be fun like playing game, doing something you like otherwise it's useless. Facultative, it's to put the study (theory), into practice and see how it develops you. I personally study all the time, when i don't necessarily do it for an exam, commitment is critical and avoiding procrastination, that will eventually build up a routine and passion for it. Hope it helps.
I have started to discipline my life 3 days ago. I have been waking up at 6am, taking cold showers, exercising, studying hard... I am in my final year(2nd year) of high school and I really wanna get into the best engineering institution(BUET) in our country Bangladesh... I have stopped jerking off and stopped scrolling. Everytime I feel any urge I close my eyes and imagine that David Goggins is watching me and I get my work done... Also, after finishing my daily goals, I don't get distracted by social media and adult content... I spend my time playing guitar and sometimes watch Goggin's podcast and read books... it's 8am now and I have started our toughest chapter of chemistry 2nd paper (organic chemistry)...
I m glad I have him my older sister only criticise me that I can't do this and that And everytime I ask her some questions it really ended up to wastage of time . Thankyou for the support 😭 .
I just releasing every day, that I am spending about 5-7 hours on studying when I can do same value of information in 2-3 hours. So I ll trying your advices)
i was spending like over 5 hours on my studies and im in georgia which the best grade is 10. and i always got something like 7/10 6/10 and stuff. and this vid helped sm
bro make a college review of your university(yale university) i'm under grad now anticipating to join yale university within a couple of years. your reviews are ice brakers for me. Honestly it means a lot!!
This is a summary from me: 1. FUCK THE EASY AND DO THE HARD SH. 2. saying “ILOVEYOU” to the work 3. FOCUS ON AT MOST [1 TASK/TAB at a times]. 4. ACTIVE RECALL. (Find past papers to test yourself)(using AI to generate question) 5. Study for 30 mins then take a 5 mins break. (NEVER OVERLOAD YOURSELF) 6. Note down carefully what you really want to study. 7. BE EMBARASSED WHEN SOLVING QUESTIONS(try to hang on and keep face by not asking for solutions) YET NEVER SHY TO ASK NEW QUESTIONS. 8.

hey @@IntellectualChad I have a question, could you make a video on how can I effectively prepare for my SAT? I am taking it in a couple of months from now and I don't know how I should study for it.
The accuracy in this, before l wrote my final exams l used to study science because l was good at it except math because l hurted it but l ditched science and developed an interest in math in my final year l passed math with a merit and all the other subjects believe me l was a master when it came to scoring poor in maths😅 😅
