Hi, concerning your second hair style: When you twist the hair and the scarf anti-clockwise, you should lay the strand anti-clockwise too. Otherwise it becomes instable and bumpy. That's why you need a second hair tie in the end. But more effortlessly, you could just wrap the strand anti-clockwise and then knot the ends of the scarf - finished!
