I really doubt the phone is being throttled here, since the GPU usage is maxed out most of the time and temps increase like I’ve never seen before Throttling means we would see sudden performance decrease along with decrease in GPU usage right 🤔
@@namedkenn Huhhh???? First up, Genshin Impact is a CPU bottleneck game. Don't blame the GPU. Throttling is basically when the CPU overheats and causes performance dips. When you start at 39°C the performance you get is good, but as you continue playing game there is more load on CPU and thus temperature increases. (since the CPU is working more than it should ideally) This is what "throttles" the chip, and the performance dips!!!! Please RUclipsrs atleast learn the meaning of terms before using it (no hate) 🙏

A smartphone without : . graphite protection . large cooling chamber . fan is not meant for gaming over 10 min, no matter what SoC you put inside otherwise overheating will destroy all the motherboard components. There are dedicated devices for gaming but more exoensive than any regular flagship (asus rog / red magic series, blackshark ...) So, don't cry for any problem after 3 months for your heavy gaming. Now, you have been warned !

I did move from a GT2 pro to a GT Neo 3(80w 5000mah), so I guess I can give a few insights. 1) In daily use, the Neo 3 has a much better effective battery life than the GT2 pro. The best screen on time I could get on the GT2 pro is around 9 hours of straight RUclips and Chrome browsing, while I have lasted 13 hours SoT on the Neo 3. The Neo 3 has better standby battery drain too, so it gets through light use days well. 2) I live in a country with a hot-ish climate (32 degrees C projected tomorrow), and I can still say that the Neo 3 copes with Genshin's heat relatively well. If I'm playing in a well-ventilated area (such as in front of an electric fan), the Neo 3 delivers smooth FPS throughout a gaming session. I've completed Archon quests in 1 sitting without noticeable thermal throttling. Though I suppose if you're in an area with stagnant and room temperature air, the heat doesn't get wicked away at all, causing throttling. 3) In terms of chipset power draw while on Genshin specifically, I guess the GT2 pro and GT Neo 3 draw similar watts. Either way, a full battery will only last about 1:30 to 2:15 hours. My takeaway is that the Neo 3 is still one of the better phones to get for Genshin. I've tried the 888 Rog 5, the a15 13promax, and the 8 gen 1 GT2 pro, and the Neo 3 delivers the best gaming experience due to being the least demanding in terms of thermals. If you're not in a hurry to upgrade though, I'd wait for the 8 gen 2 devices that are coming out in a few months.
@@izcondoralexander Couldn't find a difference in terms of Data coverage or phone signal strength, but I think the Neo 3 might have a slightly shorter wifi range. Nothing too major imo, but I guess if you're not near a router in your setup you'll notice it more.
@@somayough hey, what about the Redmi k50? I was very close to buying the realme gt neo 3 but I'm changing my mind right now and might go for the k50 or the realme gt2 master explorer, but there's still hope for the neo 3 if it has a frame intropolation feature.
@@Edwardsmith137 I actually use a k50 now as my Genshin phone. It's a little more stable than the Neo 3 in terms of frame rate( my neo 3 had the Chinese ROM, and I play on global so the frame interpolation didn't work). The K50 has a really bad camera setup though, and the battery life isn't better than the Neo 3 80w 5000mah. I still recommend the Neo 3 overall, but if you're only looking to play games and watch videos, why not?

poco x4 gt
@@Cabpybara no...How do you recommend that?
@@Miguel-ib4rd change my mind cause I just bought Xiaomi 11t pro for 399$ it way better than Poco and realme .
nahhhhhh.. for casual gamers.. were fine with 45 fps genshin low settings at 40 degrees of an hour gaming. I'd still pick the phone with best camera and good gaming.. Onplus Ace 5g😍
Hi sir!,Im from Indonesian Salam kenal....
Salam kenal juga!
In my GT Neo 3, Chinese version there is an option in game center to not throttle the phone. You should try that.
I really doubt the phone is being throttled here, since the GPU usage is maxed out most of the time and temps increase like I’ve never seen before
Throttling means we would see sudden performance decrease along with decrease in GPU usage right 🤔
@@namedkenn Huhhh????
First up, Genshin Impact is a CPU bottleneck game. Don't blame the GPU.
Throttling is basically when the CPU overheats and causes performance dips.
When you start at 39°C the performance you get is good, but as you continue playing game there is more load on CPU and thus temperature increases.
(since the CPU is working more than it should ideally)
This is what "throttles" the chip, and the performance dips!!!!
Please RUclipsrs atleast learn the meaning of terms before using it (no hate) 🙏
@@namedkenn Additionally, there's literal no connection between GPU and throttling 😐
Oneplus ace, gt neo 3 or k50. All dimensity 8100. Which one has the best battery, display and performance?
Hi!
Oneplus ace(not 10r) has an OLED 120hz display with 360hz touch sampling rate and 4500mah battery but it is much better at performance with Dimensity 8100 Max.
K50 has an OLED 120hz having 450hz touch sampling rate but better 5500mAh battery.
GT Neo 3 has a 120hz AMOLED display having a whopping 1000hz touch sampling rate coupled with 5000 mAh battery and Dimensity 8100.
Performance - Oneplus Ace Dimensity 8100 Max(winner)
Both k50 and Neo 3 are level
Battery- Redmi K50 5500mAh(winner)
Realme Gt Neo 3 5000mAh(runner up)
Display - Realme GT Neo 3 AMOLED 120hz 1000hz touch sampling rate (Winner)
Redmi K50 OLED 120hz 450hz touch sampling rate (Runner up)
Overall winner Realme GT Neo 3
@@NexCreates thanks, btw I already received my gt neo 3, a very great phone
@@NexCreates ace has touch sampling rate 360hz? are you sure?
@@NexCreates wrong! The neo 3 got only 260~280 touch sampling
Bro you Japanese?
Can you say Tatakaye
Can you test xiaomi 12t pls
Sir, please review review xiaomi 12t pro
I would love to! They’ll come first thing December in my country and my friend is going to get one so I’ll try borrow from him first haha 😁
@@namedkenn what country you come from, sir? Im from philippines and waiting for the release of xiaomi 12t pro. Will mainly use it for genshin. Hoping u review it soon, sir.
What app to show FPS like that help
It's realme game space
Uhh is it.. the Red one that pop on screen
You can find that in developer option, i forgot the name
Red one on the top left is screen refresh rate, and it is *not* real-time fps of the game (which is shown in the realme gaming plugin)
i think poco f4 gt stronger than others but its restricted by software ...
Well, to be honest the 8 Gen 1 just runs hot (and same for Dimensity 8100 here too) and you can see from my test with cooler fan, it can run much better without any modifications to software ruclips.net/video/SJhtCZbhJBY/видео.html
Where to download perfdog?
OnePlus Ace 🔥🥵🥶🥶🥶🥶
Haha yeah that looks like a winner as well
@@namedkenn please try OnePlus Ace, so hard to choose between this two.
@@edwinpepito1498 what make it harder is that they are both soooo alike.... Probably around 95% alike, I think at this point the best choice is for u to pick the cheaper one among them both xD
@@vintzthegreat1838 I'ved just got the Ace for $299 12/256 😉
@@edwinpepito1498 then it's worth it, Their performance is the same, can't tell the difference. Don't worry, One Plus Ace & Neo 3 are great twin brothers XD.
A smartphone without :
. graphite protection
. large cooling chamber
. fan
is not meant for gaming over 10 min, no matter what SoC you put inside otherwise overheating will destroy all the motherboard components.
There are dedicated devices for gaming but more exoensive than any regular flagship (asus rog / red magic series, blackshark ...)
So, don't cry for any problem after 3 months for your heavy gaming.
Now, you have been warned !
3 months of heavy gaming only? I'v been gaming on my Honor Play for 3 years, at enormous heat degrees, nothing of that nonsense happened. WTF?

I use GT NEO 3 (8gb 128gb 80 watts) and with optimization updates and Android 14. The game takes around 7-8 seceonds to open. The performance has also improved alot but heating and bad battery remains a problem.
Poco x4 gt or realme gt neo 3t?
realme or unless you like/can do reballing - then I would recommend poco xD
Those fps drops hurt me.
Haha man when you hold the phone irl the heat will hurt you more 🤣
@@namedkenn 😅🤣 so hard to find an allrounder phone these days. Do you have any reccomendations that can play genshin with better heat management and has decent camera? Not these phone that have 2-8MP extra cams😅

Can u make a review of Realme X7 Max
Over 30 degrees in the room? Why do not test it in the sauna then? rofl
Remember he is based in East Asia, that temperature is quite normal
So Poco X4 gt is better hmn......
Lol u mean F4 GT?
@@Zaraki502 no he meant x4 gt
Agree 💯
48 degrees🤣🤣
Gt neo 3 very bad for gaming im using this bulshit
U want a stable 60 fps on genshin then better get a pc not mobile lmaaaaooo
Even with a monster PC you can't even dream to reach consistent 60fps, higher or lower on a OPEN WORLD game.
Poco x4 gt is not that hot 😎
Especially when it goes into hardbrick state

Redmi k50 ultra is the best 8100 phone not that realme 😑😐
I’m talking phones that are sold internationally, although I am aware of the K50 series they are intended for Chinese market no?
@@namedkenn correction the K50 not the ultra and yeah that phone is the best D8100 phone (you should check golden reviewer review of that phone since you guys have similar style of review), i would suggest the Xaiomi 12T since it was released internationally and one of their flagship
2nd lol
🥈 and silver for you haha
Damn I almost considering to downgrade my realme gt2 pro due to d8100 efficiency in realme gt neo 3. Welp, now not anymore
@@somayough yep, im thinking to buy gt3 pro ( with sd 8 gen2 ). Btw, signal reception wise. how does it fare compared to gt2 pro?
I hope you do LENOVO Y70 plssss.
