Would also add, though it's months late. Installing a much large plate in the inside of camper to disperse the torque load as the sun shade is extended with legs not unfold yet. Have seen 1 high top camper fibreglass roof crack.
Hi. Just fitting a 230 awning to my swb medium roof Transit. Agree, Fiamma's instructions leave something to be desired. They insist on awning fitted vertically. The side wall on the medium roof is 11 degrees off vertical. I can't see that it matters. Must have been the same on your Jumbo, but you didn't appear to do anything about it. Is that correct? Don't worry about it? Thanks Keith
Fitted a 45s in black to my Ducato build 2 weeks ago, same 4m. No Banana but no gutter either so loads of measuring. What's happening with the Oss box down at Haywoods? Made me chuckle that one.
We have been trying to decide how to attack it, the roof is all but useless for what we want to do with it so it looks like we’re going to have to rip the whole body off and start again! BIG JOB!
@@towley737 going to rebuild the whole skeleton out of box section and the. 8x4 ally sheets with jointing strips. Problem is I can’t weld and have no clue what I’m doing so ye will be mainly me crying in a corner while Paul passes me cans of Stella 😂
Brilliant, you've highlighted some of the hurdles that I've been dreading. This could still get messy, here goes.
Really great vlog and very informative thanks x
Thanks Sue and thanks for your continued support.
Liked your video a lot pal cheers for that a big help 👍

100% of going through fibreglass I would do that. These small brackets would rip right out!
Ah check you out with your big awning x very impressed xx great upgrade to the Van x
So pleased with it, just need to convince the kids to come in the van so we can use it 🤦♂️
@@simplycampervanconversions leave the kids at home and we will come and use it with you x 😂❤️😂
