**SPOILER from manga, but I can't help not sharing anyway** In the last updated chapters of the manga, Kiki actually proposed to Mitsuhide in a really beautiful grassland behind her home and asked him to marry her so that he could be the lord of her noble family, but he refused and said that if they did start a serious relationship, he would protect her and not Zen, so he told her to wait until Zen not longer requires their services. I was literally screaming at him through the screen to just accept it when he so obviously loves her and vice versa. Zen and Shirayuki doesn't know yet, but I firmly believe that they'll both be furious at him for sacrificing his and Kiki's happiness for their safety.
Soace Mitsuhide cleared to Kiko that he will never get married for him to wholly devote himself on protecting Prince Zen 😭😤 Zen rea~~~lly got pissed off at Mitsuhide because of his reasons. you better read the manga I pitied Mitsuhide more than Kiki who got rejected. Kiki Accepted the rejection because she knows how traumatized is the current Mitsuhide.
I still can remember when Zen was pissed, Kiki always hide behind Mitsuhide. So cute But I understand his job is somehow important too, but nonetheless I feel sorry for both of them
I love the relationship dynamic between these two and I really want to see some more of them develop. Kiki is a strong willed woman, a fighter, and such an imposing figure that most men would feel emasculated. but not Mitsuhide. even though he's. little slow with hints.
