Z-Learning Ep. 77: Lion Enrichment

In celebration of National Zoo Keeper Week our youngest lions are receiving special enrichment boxes. (yes cats BIG and small LOVE boxes to play with)
The dedicated Keepers ensure that enrichment is a daily part of our animals' lives! Enrichment can engage many different senses from sight, smell, touch, and hearing. They help to encourage natural behaviors of the animals in our care. Objects with hidden food, sounds and/or scents compel the animals to explore with their senses and natural instincts, while benefiting from important physical and mental stimulation that enhances their health and well being.
