That tells me that Willis probably looked into the matter and may have found that the whistleblower lied and thus fired her. This story leaves out the reason for the firing which is the valuable piece of information that is needed to come to a proper conclusion.

You don’t have to be a partisan to see that another allegation of misuse of public funds demonstrates a what we call a “pattern” and more people from within the office is more than likely going to substantiate the claim.

The real issue is: if the prosecutor was hired without having the proper credentials, then that's wrong and Fani Willis should be held responsible.The prosecutor was hired in 2021. And it was not until 2022 that they had a personal relationship. In short, the prosecutor was not hired because of the personal relationship. So, the issue is not about conflict of interest, and has nothing to do with serious charges against the defendants. Even if Willis and the prosecutors are removed, the cases will continue.
Willis is toast, give it a few weeks and she's out.

Bri I would expect you to know this. Probably the biggest issue is using public funds to hire a subcontractor of which she is favoring. One who is not nearly as qualified as others. And paying this subcontractor more than you would pay others, more favoritism. And receiving benefits, kickbacks, from the subcontractor. Not just saying this, but this is serious criminal activity. It’s not just a relationship.

The problem the Democrats have is, she can not merrily step down. If she does, the Fulton Counties DA office would have to give it up and pass it on to another DA’s office in the State of Georgia. A Judge threw out one of Fanni’s cases because she was openly supporting with fund raisers while prosecuting the opponent of the person she supported. The judge said she used poor judgement and said “what where you thinking”. The case can be offered to another DA. They could turn it down because Fanni instigated this case. No one else. This was not given to her.
The case wasn’t thrown out another attorney is prosecuting.

I worked for the Texas Department of health for 18 years and whenever a supervisor and subordinate entered into a relationship one or the other had to transfer to a different department. Favoritism, bonuses and promotions and recentment from other employees becomes a nightmare
