macoricio94 Not really. I see both men and women play this instrument. I think only guqin are more played by the men in the ancient time, since it's associated with the scholars.
The lower notes sound earthy and the higher notes sound clear and poignant. Overall, this guzheng has a nostalgic sound, which is unique. Do you have any other videos that feature this particular guzheng model?

@@helena8465 this is the only video I have for this model. I should make a newer clip. I always like the earthy tone of this model.
