Thanks for posting this, we're also up to an extension. Your video came up as one of the first (if not the first) on our RUclips search. Loved also that you were not afraid to show your initial mistakes. If the Internet were more filled with videos such as yours, the world would surely be a better place. Take care!

We've used this ruclips.net/user/postUgkxwY_GQlMmFUAMhEN7rwfizj6Pi1RPnF_8 travel bed for our toddler multiple times while traveling, since she just moved out of the crib and wasn't comfortable with her in bed yet. She has slept great in it every time!

Hi, I’m thinking to buy the IKEA INNERLIG extendable mattress but without a bed, just put on the floor straight without any frames. Could you pls let me know if there are gaps between the parts of mattresses after you cover fitted sheet on? I’ m afraid with 3parts connection will be not flat. I will Wait for your answer! Tks!

I tried that and you need a matress topper. With just a single sheet on top, is not very fully comfortable as you can actually feel the gaps

Hello, I followed the instructions but the bed won’t extend! It is so stuck! Both other half and I have been trying our best to pull it apart but it isn’t sliding out. Even got out a hammer and it is that stuck. Managed to extend it by 2 inches but that’s it. I am worried the wood expanded during the winter season.

Mine won’t extend even with those out! Any advise

The wood can catch a bit. I had to really yank on the bottom of the bed to get it to extend fully. Then it can be a little tricky to line the holes up to get the screw back in but you just have to persevere 😉
If it’s still not working then maybe you removed the wrong screws? Just check it’s the big ones that are where the two ends of the bed cross over. I hope that helps!

This is one of the worst video i have ever seen, the camera is shaking, focus is out and such a pain to watch this. I would rather read the Ikea manual
