- Rather than setting up for the week sitting on the couch I decided to turn on the camera and set it up with you. In this video we'll setup my Stalogy (cut down to Standard Travelers Notebook size) for the week of March 18th thru the 24th. This is a sort of bujo style planner with weekly and daily spreads -- mostly for listing. And I'm loving it!

Great clean concise set up. TFS Shiv. Too funny.. I just replaced my refill in my gold Energel today. These are one of my fave pen bodies. I hadn't seen anybody use them on videos. What's the other pen you're using here?

I love the gold Energel too. I have the same metal body in pink, purple and blue! The other pen I'm using in this video is a gel pen from Writech (you can find them on Amazon - they might be in my Amazon storefont but not 100% positive).

Ditto. I have them all except the pink. Hadn't been able to get it but have it on the list. Oh okay I've used the vintage needle point Writech. Was surprised how good they are but they're not refillable. Will check out your storefront for the one you have. Thanks!
I have always wondered about the metal round at the top of the planner cover- how does it not bother you when you use the planner? It seems like it would be bothersome when you open it up and go to write. It has always kept me from buying that cover!
That metal part allows them to run the elastics without having a knot on the spine. The only elastic knot is on the closure elastic and it's on the back. It's also I think supposed to be aesthetically pleasing though I don't agree with that LOL. so the metal nub doesn't bother me when using it - it lays on its side and is pretty slim and flat when using the planner and it's so far at the top that I don't really notice. However at some point I'll end up removing it and putting in my own elastic so it won't be permanent for me. All that said - it's not bothersome and doesn't impair writing or use in any way :)
