FYI... I think you should have pulled out that atomizer collar that is sleeved below the jet. There are 6 pinholes , 3 on each side of the collar, that can easily get clogged. Just watchin out Boys! Great instructionalVideo BTW! P.S. My KT735 carb was installed from factory flat squared out part of the gasket towards the top. But I dont expect my stardards when it comes to Kohler.. they coulda put on wrong from the factory.
Thank you! Just clean that carb really good! New fuel filter and good clean fuel. That should fix you up! Thank you for watching and I hope it works out for you!
@@andybecker2693 I am a huge fan of Kawasaki but to be honest I’ve had great luck with all of them as long as they are properly maintained. If someone were planning on neglecting the engine on their mower then none of them are going to last very long. It only takes an hour every year to change the oil and filters. Remove the cooling shroud and clean the cooling fins out. If people would do that and run some fuel stabilizer or run no ethanol fuels then I’ve seen well over 2500 hrs on one before it needs to be rebuilt.
@@tannersharry I totally agree about maintenance. I bought a 2001 Craftsman GT3000 with a Kohler Command Pro 23 brand new. I religiously maintained it until I retired it still operational in 2022. I chose a Kawasaki engine this time around though when I bought my new zero turn in 2022.

Great video. Im contemplating doing this.. after watching your video. My issue is surging under load. (Blades on).

@@tannersharry thanks. Noticed in the video. I have same engine but fuel filter is different.. mine is the cone shape. Maybe I need that cylinder type
@@joshc.363 I believe it would provide better flow to the carb. Worth a shot anyway
I have a troybuit lawn mower when I start it it runs low power I wait for a little bit then it goes full power 4:38
Sounds like an automatic choke. Sometimes they need a brief warm up. Once the choke heats up it opens the butterfly and then runs WOT
@@tannersharry thank you
@@keithsimpson1268 you’re very welcome!
What is your preferred brand of zero turn engine?
