- Judge Juan Merchan had to severely scold Donald Trump's lawyer while she was questioning Stormy Daniels this week, after the lawyer continued down a line of questioning that had already been objected to and sustained. Trump's lawyers are trying to follow his orders to go tough against the witnesses, but in doing so they are causing far more damage to his case and ruining their reputation with the jury. Within two months a verdict, but the defense will try to get a situation in which nullification is possible, either jeopardize the jury, creating a hang jury, discredit the judge, discredit the prosecution as we have seen in the other cases.
Maybe they’re tanking it so Trump can appeal due to not having competent representation.
The reason attorneys put on a show instead of presenting a defense is because they have no defense.
