Awesome Buggy! I wish I would have known about it two years ago! I have a Kyosho MP10 TKI3 Nitro Inferno Now! I built mine! It's got a Alpha Falcon plus engine with a Dragon Pipe! This thing is a Beast!
I have to try a Serpent Buggy nitro. I was against buggies back in the yrs when I first started off with RCs when you can (C.O.D.) orders😂! and really had to sit and put these kits together piece by piece 😅
I have one and i'm totally in love, for a rtr it's very powerful when you have the good set up for the engine, the perfect buggy to have an idea of what competition's car are. With a few upgrades you can have a beast
you cannot kill a nitro! You know it brother!! I gotta say this is the best handling buggy for the money, the .21 is very high revving and the chassis handles great.
From what I have seen the serpent car is the best ready to run. Some companies set there rods so you have no adjustment. For that price I would buy it but I have a mugen 7r
hey man! I would totally agree with you on this being the best 1/8 nitro RTR buggy there is. And yes, the entire LOSI nitro fleet uses fixed links instead of adjustable tie-rods. Problem there is if you ever get wider tires you will need to adjust them to reduce tire wear over the wider tire at certain locations as the suspension travels. Mugen the best for sure!!
In my local outdoor claytrack, there is some of these sepents, but in kit form. They seem to perform very good. And the distributor in Norway have parts available for them.
ye man, I agree. I gotta say though, I'm quite sure the motor in this buggy is the Novarossi 3 port motor, the same as old Serpent buggy. Who knows, all we know is you cannot kill a nitro bro!! right..
thanks for watching my dude! There will be more on this buggy soon, the break in is done, that means we gonna run it hard in the next video! Till next time bro!!
hey dude, yes that model is on my list also. Brand wise, I'd say this Serpent cannot be beat. The engine in this is most definitely a novarossi in my opinion, just branded differently. Thanks bro, I'll be on the lookout for the Kyosho too, I'm not a brand loyalist and I'll give any nitro a chance.
100% great observation, yes! I've never come across such great detail to tuning and bodies, lol. Its very convenient. I just ran my Ofna Buggy today and could sure have used that cutout, ahaha. Serpent is great!.
hey man! For real, right!! I used to hate buggies, but I must say this one and some of my vintage OFNA buggies changed my mind. This is poorly the best brand new one you could get right now.
combustion engine in combination with one or more electric motors that use energy stored in batteries. HEVs combine the benefits of high fuel economy and low tailpipe emissions with the power and range of conventional vehicles.
I noticed Amain just raised the price on this. And now you run a video on it. It was $479.99. At $150 clams more then what I paid for the LOSI 8, I hope it's better in some way shape or form above the Losi. $150 bones buys a lot. That is one sharp buggy for sure. What's the open square behind the battery box for?
I forgot; at priming , of course have the throttle, gas carb open so it enters the piston room easily, just squeeze the servo open w/o the rc . Then tighten plug, decrease throttle servo…and ignite engine as usual w heater…on box of course…as engine goes on, lower throttle to keep working w/o bugging… Also have to adjust all needles if needed… ⁉️must follow instructions on manuals…
Gotta love a good nitro! Even more so when it is a serpent haha Serpent is a top-notch brand and I have only really heard good things about them. Especially their onroad cars, those things are crazy fast and handle amazingly. Also keep up the great work bro, Nitrogang for life!!!!
hey my dude! thanks for checking this video out! One day I hope to get one of their on-road cars, that would be truly Sickening, lol.. I gotta say for the price, this buggy cannot be beat and I'd say is the best current deal and package around. More on this soon, the faster track run vids are coming..
@@hybrid32494 no problem bro! I always watch your videos when I can! The onroad cars are sickening and it would be rad if you got one some day. If I have some disposable income, then I would love to get one!
The Serpent RTR has been on my radar lately, especially now with this video out. I was excited for the Vorza 3.5 but HPI seems to be trying to put themselves out of business with their pricing. This looks like THE buggy to have.
Running a 960 and a 966 now, they sure are fast, and handle like a dream, and as they are older technology and nitro you can find them really easy and cheap here in the Netherlands. Younger kids are all into battery powered cars, and don't want to bother with nitro setup/tuning. But to me getting a nitro to run perfectly is part of the hobby. Also have 3 HPI'S , a Nitro RS4 3, Evo with a OS CV .18, a R40 with a OS .12, and a Trophy with a Alpha 5 port buggy .21. The HPI R40 is/ was a high end competition car, miles above the RS4, but the Serpents are a step up again (both in scale and in engineering)
@@NemesisRTCW yeah I mean I am a young guy and used to have electric, but moved to nitro for the added realism and the real engine. I love it and it has taught me way more than electric ever could or will.

thanks for watching my dude! There will be more on this buggy soon, the break in is done, that means we gonna run it hard in the next video! Till next time bro!!
hey my dude! For the most part all .21 and up size nitro motors use the same mounting specs. Also if you run into fitment issues you could buy basic 1/8 buggy adjustable motor mounts for cheap. Thanks for watching dude, if you run into problems hit me up.
Gata love the Serpent!!!! But how would you compare it to the HoBao Hyper vs2? I have been looking for a new Nitro to try some small club racing and I have been torn between the two of them.
