  • A horse packing adventure in the High Wyoming Wind River Mountains in the Bridger Wilderness area. The horseback adventure starts at the Scab Creek trail head and heads up the Low Line trail to Divide lake, Monroe Lake and many more. Exploring wilderness county as we travel on horse back, seeing unbelievable views of mountain peaks like Dragon Head Peak, Pronghorn peak, Mount Bonneville and Ambush Peak along with many more. We just enjoyed our time in the Wind River high County on horseback.

The scenery is outstandingly beautiful. Riding along with camping in that environment would be once in a lifetime opportunity. My greatest fear would be a visit from a grizzly bear in a bad mood.

I cant ride a horse to save myself, but this looks like the ultimate disconnect from modern life. Like a Louis L'Amour novel without the shootouts.

What keeps the horses grazing nearby… I don’t think I see they are hobbled… just well trained horses that are tired?
