I am currently on a spellcaster binge but this has some real potential and I can think of so many different uses for that resin sap breath weapon Im really looking forward to play with this fun forest frend.
Hmmm. I primarily play druids so this is really good information to have. Now when I'm playing druids or rangers of 5th level or higher I'll be making checks for excessive poisonous plants, especially healthy trees and gouges that allowed a lot of sap to be released, and excessive rot and fungus so my dm and party will know wether there might be a black, green, or amber dragon in the area (as in the dm might simply decide that there are one of these three lurking about that we should be wary of)
Make sure to talk to the DM about it in private before you start making the checks a part of your habit - if he's adequate, he'll allow it. If he's OK, he'll actually look up the environmental effects of certain monsters. If he's one of the Great Ones, he's been dropping those hints every time the party passes through the area. (Why are the trees so twisted in "creepy ass forest"? because there's a green dragon lair there.)
Does the amber or sap have any magical properties on its own does it act as its normal material or will it dissolve quicker these are the questions a dm must answer also I suggest the Zebrataur and Desert Centaur
I think it would dissolve faster than normal sap, most dragon things have additional magical properties at least as components to rituals and in the crafting of magical items, such as scrolls, potions and wondrous items.
I watched your Balor video so I did a key word search for Pit Fiends but didn't find any videos about them. Are they listed under a different name? Thanks. Great videos!
Conifers are wind pollinators, so they release large amounts of pollen into the air instead of having things like bees carry it. I live near a mostly-conifer forest and everything is coated in a light yellow dust for like a month every year. Look it up.
These don't feel like real dragons. Somewhere in the middle of the video you said that they don't collect treasure that is not a dragon that's something that all dragons do. I think maybe their treasure could be exotic plants. Or exotic animals also. But to have no treasure that's not nature of a dragon

@@AJPickett I guess that means I get to create a new kind of dragon. Though are there any hybrids between just metallic or gem dragons? Just so that I have a basis to work off of.
@@andresmarrero8666 I give you full license to create a new and unique dragon type, a legendary mutant of some kind, too weird to live... too strange to die.
@@AJPickett I wouldn't call it a mutant but it definitely would be a new member of the family. Now I got to figure out how the elements would mix and other factors.
@@AJPickett A Gonzo dragon sounds amazing.
AJ you are the only RUclipsr I know of that has so many unique intros. On a side note because I couldn't send you a superchat when you streamed, could a changeling transform into the child form of a medium creature or would the child form be considered as size category small?
Nice! Looking forward to other rare dragon types!
The dragon in the thumbnail looks like it's puking its guts out...
It is, well, an organ that is a bit like a gut, nestled right up next to a series of blood vessels that transfer elemental power from the blood, into the organ, to generate the massive gouts of liquid.
@@AJPickett And it's probably quite proud of this breath weapon. Meanwhile, the other dragons are either trying not to laugh or putting off dinner for the next few days...
Thank you for making these videos!
Hmmmm now I wanna play an Amber dragonborn druid .. the breath seems great for utility
Didn't you make a video on the moonstone dragons? And the rust dragons?
Rust dragons, certainly.
I had no idea there was a vegetarian dragon. My girlfriend will love this.
So, kill these dragons on sight. Got it.
This is a neat one
U know what, I love me my metallic and chromatic dragons; but all these weird off colour ones; can't be bothered lol.
Love the opening music choice.
Need a source for the intro music. STAT!
ruclips.net/video/N_1pB4iFxg4/видео.html Ares provides music to the channel. I am a Patreon supporter of his work.
I watched your Balor video so I did a key word search for Pit Fiends but didn't find any videos about them. Are they listed under a different name? Thanks. Great videos!
Have not done a vid on them yet :)
Someone go to mtg cardsmith and make a card for every creature from every aj video even asmodeus
Made me want to watch the Mist Dragon video which raises the question are Mist Dragons Neutral Dragons?
Ummmm, yes they are.
When are we getting the dragons that were promised here?
Very soon now, thanks for the reminder!🙂
@@AJPickett, looks like you got quite a few on the list. Very intrigued to hear about the Tome and Hex Dragons.
I could use one of these to protect my apple trees lol
How do they get along with druids? Do they join druid circles?
They would only do so out of self interest.
conifers that release pollen??? must be unique pines of the FR I guess lol
What if they collect dreams or glades?
As long as it's something valuable and precious
He said they consider the trees to be their "horde" So the more trees that are in their forest the greater their horde is.
how did i not know amber dragons existed?!
So what you are saying is this is a thing but the lead dragon is not!?
awesome video
Amber Dragons suffer from S.A.D 😂😂😂
blind sight is often connected to smell.
Here wuz Seamus!
Damn thats a nice intro
Like cranky old people who fly off the handle during bad weather or mentally ill.. hell night full moon
Well done AJ.....I like this one.
Fing Glorious
Video on the luxo!
Thanks.
