I love showing you how to make budget friendly home decor pieces that look high end. For the most part, I stopped shopping home decor stores like home goods, Pier1, TJMaxx, Ross and others. Being able to transition home decor season to season and change up decorating style is important, but it doesn't come cheap!
Decorating for every style and season, while having a high end look can be difficult and expensive, especially if you have a tight decorating budget. In this video and all DIY videos, I show you how to give your home and every space in your home a boost with DIY decorating projects.
Don't be afraid to step out of the Dollar Tree shopping hauls to accomplish this. Dollar tree budget friendly decorating is my favorite, but you can find inexpensive home decor pieces or supplies for do it yourself projects at other places like Goodwill, Habitat Restore, shopping clearance sections, using coupons, yard sales and Facebook Marketplace is a great place to find free stuff!

@Aracelichan, Girl these wall aconces are gorgeous! I loooove loooove loooove them. Those brackets are for the middle of the curtain rod to support the weight of the rod and the curtains. Hey they. Worked for this DIY. MRS DIY QUEEN I DUB THEE. LOL. I. LOVE SLL OF YOUR WORK. I SAW YOU "Faux shiplap" is still on your wall. Looks great! I showed my son. He did not believe me when I said it was foam board..... I think you can buy them in sheets from ruclips.net/user/faux Panels.com.... I need about 8 panels. Did you see that Dollar tree had peel and stick white subway tiles and a dark gray color? I tried to get them but sold out. Everything I needed they were sold out. Bummer.... praying they get some more in. I need my kitchen redone in a bad way on a shoestring budget.... Anyone help?? Tips or tricks? I want to paint my cabinets white. They aren't real wood, but the white would look So stunning I know. Walls I need to paint. I know you can paint your floors with a certain kind of paint. I love Yami at the Latina next door. I want that window pane! I have a very big ugly framed painting (looks like it's from the early 90s) and I was thinking that since it's still in perfect condition, I could take the large sheet of glass out of it and glue strips of wood to it, paint the wood, then distress it. It'd be like a "faux window pane" and you'd never be able to tell the difference. Have you ever done this??

Great idea to use ornaments as lightbulbs! Everything turned out so pretty!!!! I have so many craft supplies but I haven't ever bought the dollar tree jenga pieces. We have some scrapwood in the basement I think I could use that,.. with some (jenga dollar tree blocks) and try to recreate your diys! Wish me luck!!!! Thanks for the inspiration! Great tutorial! i agree i love the lantern diy i actually got inspired to redo this for my babies nursery but my question is how did you hang to the wall?
You can also use the dollar tree artists canvases to make the frame. Just take the canvas off of 4 frames and hot glue them together in a square shape. It saves a ton of time.
