      I think a plastic tub is carcinogenic specially when it's hot. As far as I know WHO says plastic materials are carcinogenic even BPA free. What makes this tub different from what WHO declared?

    from when u power it up to it get hot time ?
    How's it holding up?

    • @Kcterry
      @Kcterry  3 года назад +2

      Took around 14-15 hours to heat up to set temperature. After that it's stays set as you have it while covered. It will cool down a few degrees after using for a period of 15-20 minutes. It's done really well so far.

  • @jaredts3785
    @jaredts3785 2 года назад +1

    Mine didn’t seem to come with a bottom filter. I’ve been trying to use it anyway and I noticed it will not heat despite me increasing the temperature. Are those 2 issues related?

    • @Kcterry
      @Kcterry  2 года назад

      I don't think a filter issue would prevent it from heating.

  • @kennykistler6735

    Nice video. Thanks. I'm giving this exact model to my wife for Mother's Day this weekend.
    1. Any setup tips I need to know so that I don't run into any problems? Is it clear which parts hook up to which valves?
    2. Do you have a mat or padding on your deck, underneath the tub?
    3. Does the tub come with the two filter cartridges that you need? Do you know what size/model the replacements are?
    4. Do the bubble "jets" go off automatically after a certain number of minutes running?
    It sucks that the instructions that come with these things are so terrible. I don't know why they can't just provide a useful manual with it.

    • @Kcterry
      @Kcterry  3 года назад +2

      In my opinion everything about the setup was very clear. All of the connections line up well as long as your surface is level.
      I do not currently have anything underneath it but I am planning on getting a outdoor rug for it.
      It does come with 2 filters. If you Google Coleman Saluspa Havana filters it will point you to the ones you need. The have several quantity options on Amazon.
      I believe the air jets cut off automatically after either 15 or 20 minutes. After that you can fire it back up for the same amount of time.

    • @brooklyndestiny446
      @brooklyndestiny446 2 года назад +1

      I actually have one and I’ve been doing a lot of research before I purchased mine and believe it or not it doesn’t actually use up that much electric do you think it would but it really doesn’t it really doesn’t even put a dent in the electric bill and I actually live in a really big Old historical home so heating the house is crazy but you would think because you do have to run it all the time it would run up your electric bill but it really doesn’t and it has to do with the way that they’re made they’re basically low energy Definitely worth getting

    • @imdeplorable2241
      @imdeplorable2241 3 года назад +3

      You can but, the cord needs to be a #12 AWG or, better yet, a #10 AWG. AWG stands for American Wire Gauge and the lower the number, the larger the wire diameter and the higher the Ampacity. In the case of wire gauge, "bigger is better."
