Much respect to Conor for stepping out of his comfort zone. He was bigger, younger, supposedly stronger, had the reach and height advantage, 8 ounce gloves supposedly favored him and an unorthodox style. Despite how people view Floyd who is almost 41 yrs old and was retired for 2 yrs he has a high boxing IQ and used all of Connor's strengths to his advantage. He employed his own version of the Ali "Rope A Dope" by walking Connor down something Floyd doesn't do, forcing Connor to punch himself out and then he closed the show. Congrats FMM 50-0.. Conor said he is younger, bigger and stronger and will KO Floyd inside 4 rounds. If the gloves was to be at 8oz (as it eventually was) he could not see Floyd lasting beyond 2 rounds.
