While you’re there, you might as well do a three part series in South Korea, Bali, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and other nearby places 🤔
how am I seeing you on Tech Twitter spaces and now in TechLead’s comment section? 😮
As a millionaire. Lol😂
He’s already been to many of those of those places

Probably one of the best videos you made. I hope you can find meaning in life again! Best luck to you!
Bro, i bought ALT80Y in September after your video. i'm up 79%.
Buy his Million crypto token
Happiness is in community and passion. Moved to Mexico from California and have been enamored with my life. Mexicans are so kind and put community/family at the forefront of their values. I love America, but we can sometimes get lost in the machine. High cost of living pressures can really grind you down.
You know, Mexico is in America too 😉
Yooo Jonny boy you're spot on.. what part. Oof Mexico did you choose ?
you're really hitting your stride with these vids lately - well done!
I'm glad you are doing well. As a millionaire . I have learned so much from your channel over the years
If you don’t mind me asking , how did you make you’re millions ?
@@Astral9Sax selling body
I already converted all my ETH to AZT33X , now I feel like moving all my BTC to ADA as well.
What is this? I can't find any information.
ALT80Y has the most potential to do more than X10. ETH and BTC will most likely do a X5-X6, but that's fine for me. Gotta look for better entry points while I stake IRIS and PGEN, then wait for Polygen's next raise as I also look at their new partnership with Kenzo Ventures.
"Someday we all reach a point in our lives where we say to ourselves we aren't going live forever and we have to start living for ourselves"
I reached that point recently. It’s terrifyingly motivating
Of course we can live forever! Jesus Christ said, *"I am telling you the truth, whoever believes in me has eternal life."* (John 6:47)
I'm always surprirsed by your content and you always provide great content and honestly this was one of the best videos you have made, thank you I needed this great reminder :)
Agreed, this is simple but deep
Very nice. I always learn from you and one of your videos saved me when my life hit rock bottom. Thank you TechLead
That was amazing! Thank you so much! Great job with the photography and story telling. The trip you planned was beautiful.
Good to see you flourish, TechLead! Enjoy the fruit of your work for the others that can't do so yet.
This was one of the best videos you've made. So calming and motivating.
I've been traveling for some time. My impression is it's like changing decoration rather than changing gameplay. Moving to another place may change a lot, but just traveling doesn't seem to do so.
Very beautifull and inspiring video. I'm still at the stage of working on weekends and nights to please my bosses. Sometimes I wish I could skip this part, but I think it's also very important to fully enjoy and appreciate the part where I get to do stuff like being able to post videos like these.
There is nothing like enjoying life, especially the little things. No need for lambos and crazy trips in the middle of nowhere to appreciate what life has to offer.
@@ny_hai Interesting take, but I actually think there is something like enjoying life. I think with finacial freedom life is more enjoyable than when you are just living hand to mouth, its even nearly impossible to enjoy and appreciate the little things when all you are thinking about is how you gonna have enough money for rent monthend.
@@iamenochchirima I agree with you, in the first world, these things aren't hard to come by, one is unlikely to be homeless and have nothing to eat. In many parts of the world however: to live is to fight everyday for survival.
Beautiful and touching video, you are 100% correct no one would take care of you better than yourself.
really enjoyed this three part mini series!
Very inspirational 👏 love ur vids. Keep them coming
a lovely series... thank you. see you back here in Vegas, take care
The most insightful thing in this video to me was the part about how the person in the mirror is the one looking out for you the most. What I find interesting about that concept is when you think about people who seemingly sabotage themselves. If we're honest with ourselves, those self-sabotaging people are likely fulfilling a subconscious need to protect themselves from something that harmed them in the past. In my understanding, a big part of growing up is taking yourself through the memories of your childhood and re-examining them with more context so that those previous defense mechanisms are pointed in the right directions for the new context you might find yourself in.
Yep, it is quite sad that there's really no one you can genuinely share your success with except yourself (perhaps with the exception of your mom). I see all others get very jealous when you have much more than they do and much more successful than they are. People who hung around are there to take from you and not really there to support or provide anything to you. In this world, you can only trust yourself, be good to yourself and be proud of all the hard work you've put in to get to where you are today. So, pat yourself on the back and treat yourself to the best that there is because on one else will and no one else really matters.
I have this problem with my brother. I would so love to share my life with him, but I can’t stand to make him upset, cause he didn’t have the same success as me. It tears my heart a bit
@@alcoyot Yes, I have the same issue with my brother. We are literally two extreme opposites. Sometimes I wonder if we do have the same set of parents. It also tears my heart quite a bit, but after we are all grown up, each of us seek our own paths. Not just brothers can get jealous, sometimes even your own father can get jealous if you are more successful than your dad. Mom is the only one who will be proud because she gave birth to you 🙂 Your success is her success.
Good to see you're in a good mood 😊
This is beautiful! how can you not love techlead
Incredibly insightful! Haven't been on your channel in a while but I'm glad I saw this today.
Loving your progression ❤🎉😊
Whatever therapist you're working with, they're doing a good job. keep loving yourself.
You can only lover others as much as you love yourself.
Thank you for this great video. Totally identify with this.
This is the single best video you have ever made at least for me. It's the first time I felt like you haven't mentioned that you're an ex google, ex facebook techlead millionaire (while it's still there). It's definetly a value point for me to push for better as myself. Thank you for inspiring.
He still mentioned it
Found your channel 3 days ago and this video i enjoyed … because I can related. Not sure the “regularly scheduled programming” will be my cuppa of tea but thank you for sharing. Safe travels
I love this type of content, I also highly value your thoughts, values ... they always make me reflect.
Great series. Thanks 👍🏻
I have been following you for quite some time (since the days when you spelled out the salary of an SWE at Google (you were working as staff on RUclips), and that video has been taken down); I enjoy this content as I find your wisdom to be precious.
There’s a lot of power in going solo. You get to decide your every move without anyone else there to try to influence your decision making and that can be a very good thing.
Some beautiful filming and advice 👍
Its good to see you grow as a person
Very very good and surely the best video you have ever made 🙂Thank you!
I recognize a lot about my own thinking process in this video, and what kind of lifestyle I envision for myself. Stopped with my full time job as well for 12 months now, rather try to venture, to connect and meet with strangers. I have learned that time is limited and do things now rather than later. Being financially independent does make things easier. I have experienced first hand that life can be too short and can be very cruel to people.
Although I have always traveled in my early twenties for the past 25 years and I have been at many different continents and countries around the globe with Asia being my favorite continent, which made me richer in learning different cultures and have first hand experience. But I have only recently started to travel solo first time since last year to Singapore and Malaysia. Totally different experience traveling solo.
I’m again learning more about myself and interact differently with people I meet.
I have a few trips planned and look forward them.
Thanks man, your video made me cry, I needed that!
Thanks for sharing your trip, I really enjoyed it.
Thanks, amazing amazing. Great sharing and wake up call !
Love it when you introduce yourself and your accolades!!!
Great video man, I really enjoy these travel / philosophical ones. I'm just leaving my own Orc Town after spending my 20s learning how to make as much money as possible and then I realized that you really want flexibility. Without flexibility, you can't spend that money and you'll likely get pulled into the lifestyle of your close friends or work buddies rather than doing what you really want.
This was great. ❤
Excellent video! Beautiful country. Knowing how to live a good life is so important. Thank you for talking about it
Fun video TL!
Japan is such a Beautiful country 🙏🏻 It is rich in culture and traditions. I grew up there 🇯🇵 ㊗️
I agree, American living in Japan🙋🎶💯🙏🙆
Thank you Tech Lead how you showing us how to create a life worth living. Your content is truly a breath of fresh air.
Financial independence gave me the security to leave my high paying job. Now I only work if I want to 😊
Love the birth of TravelLead
Dude, your travel videos are incredible 👍🏻
:) rootin' for you, buddy
You are the most relatable SUCCESS COACH / LIFE COACH ever 🙏
Great Story man and very humble :)
The bit rate in this video is so high my eyes started watering.
Thank you 🥲
Spending money on right things is important🎉
👍
Correct it's all about how you spend your money like I myself would invest into building warehouses forsale, aerospace engineering and AI software smart homes etc
There it is man, I've been traveling since I was 28 and never stopped.
Even when I was broke living in a trailer, I still had time to make adventure a part of my life, even though I wanted to just eat and play games.
I’m glad you arrived to this conclusion 😊 I don’t have so much money, but right now I’m doing the same 😁
Thanks for that really enjoyed it. Great cinematography. Japans an incredible place to visit. I would also recommended visiting neighbouring countries
What he'll find out (and probably make a video about, months from now) is that trying to "take care of yourself" and going to the most beautiful places in the world wears thin after a while, because ultimately to live is to love. without love, what do you have? it's not about a destination or an activity, it's about shared experiences and memories.
He’s already found this out. It is a little disturbing that all these things he’s doing doesn’t involve interacting with anyone. I wonder if he avoids making new friends because the whole “5 friends you spend time with “ thing.
Yep agree with you, waiting for that video too 😊
I am happy you are finally choosing you instead of impossible quest to please other people ❤
LOVE this new tech lead!!
Excellent video, outstanding !!! Facing some difficulties in life but these kind of videos quite inspiring and relaxing. Beautiful !!

This got me thinking a lot. My priority in life now is to buy a house. I just can’t live any longer in cheap frat house, hostel rooms etc. and even worse, renting an expensive apt.
So I’m working toward that end, but I’m already way more advanced than most Americans, than pretty much anyone I’ve known. I don’t have debt. Most ppl don’t even get to orc town. They just swim in a swamp of debt. And then if you have a kid it’s even worse, forget about even thinking of visiting onsens. You will paying your kids private school and preschool for life. So, I mean having a kid does bring some meaning, but it throws away any hope of leaving orc town, for those who can even dream of it.
How can you not love tech lead :D Such a unique guy on youtube
nice solo travel :))). because of the pandemic, we gotta stay home all the time, and we tend to forget a lot of things, including nature, i used to be an active young boy but when covid burst out, i've grown a really bad habit that is nerding at home and doing many silly stuffs to kill time, i never use my pc much before the pandemic, but now i use it almost of my day, instead of seeing nature magnificence or my loved ones' faces i stare at screen most of the time, it's sad that i just realized this recently, previous days, after sitting for soooo long in my desk watching silly things i subconsciously stood up and take my bike and just go out, wandering some rural parts of the city that have many trees and lakes not just houses, blocks, cars, zombies :)), and then i suddenly drop by at a lake, after so long, i just feel that my senses came back to nature, and my nerves, it calmed down so much i must confess, only left with the sounds of wind, air, water, some boats, aaahh, the scenery is just like a privilege if you stay at the center of your city, no so long after i came at the "lake" i don't know it's maybe sea road, but much smaller than sea, a huge rain started, and i tried to find some nearby places to hide out from the rain, and the rain just linger for 1 hour, in just 1 hour, i experience many things i neglect for so long, i try my best to get in touch with nature, the rain drops roll over my skin, it's freshing and chilling and i just came to realize that how long i did'nt experience a rain, i've been in my house for so long, and i decided the next time i will have this wandering solo travel more and more if i there is a chance, actually that day's weather is very speacial, i live in the center of the city, lack of trees, many blocks, no lakes, less and less rain happened and it kindda annoyed me, when i was a child, i hated rain because then i can't go out and play, i like the heat of the summer, i didn't treasure rain back then, but now when i'm a 18 years old boy i love rain so much, rain makes the air cooler and fresher :)). btw i concur with most of your thoughts about things, belief and opinion, our society nowadays, just want to let you know that we have pretty much things in common:))
"ahh so successful"🤣
Wholesome content
I am at the similar stage in my life right now. I love it!
always great info. thanks for sharing.
the character development of tech lead has been very pleasant over the past 3 years
Liking this guy's view on life 👍
The Japanese Alps are amazing. Yarigatake and Kamikochi are beautiful.
He's so happy about the Recession coming in, like he's super excited to be witnessing it.
Havent been to your channel for a long time. The old stuff was hard….bitter, escalating. Now This content……. is amazing. Useful. Insightful. Growth occurred. ❤❤❤❤❤
Success!
TechLead, been following you for years, still waiting for you to come to the conclusion that the only thing that remains fun forever is trying to make the world a better place. Money is a proxy for the value you have created in other people's life. If you manage to catch some of that value. The world has many issues and since you don't have any real problems and are obviously bored on some level, why don't you figure out some solutions to the biggest problems other people have?
Well, you already do, by providing us with this channel.
But what about other things you care about - what is the world you wanna see, the world you wanna live in?
Not only is it worth pursuing creating that world, it will also always remain fun and an interesting challenge.
just a perfect video. thank you
Great videos, keep them coming. Please travel more, and make these vlogs. They will give you a purpose and is great content as well ($$$)
Well said, again.
so beautiful. incredible videography skills.
HI MR TING BEAUTIFUL FOOTAGE OF JAPAN GROWING UP WE LOVED SUPER MARIO BROTHERS ME AND MY # BROS HAD TO TAKE TURNS TO PLAY HAVE A GREAT DAY GOD BLESS YOU
I’ve always found it most rewarding to simply live for “cause,” what- & how-ever they happen to present themselves. Some are lifelong & others passing. The “me” part is whatever suits my fancy. Living merely for one’s presumed pleasures seems vapid, shallow, & pointless.
I did the same and I could not be happier. Big tech companies are bad for your mental health. Like most US corporations
I think I’m transitioning out of make money stage too, I don’t even really have that much but maybe enough to get by.
The is video actually makes me miss my home state in Appalachia, they kinda look a like.
so successful should be the intro sequence branding most people have :D
The Techlead ✌🏾✌🏾
Really nice video, Patrick.
awesome , cool content
I love these travel vids, very poetic. Remind me of Anthony bourdain, would love more of these.
I remember in one of your videos, you were explaining that it is not a good idea to buy a house or apartment and not a good investment.
Can you please explain more and talk about being and living simply. Sometimes when you don’t wana be like others or your friends and buying a fancy car or home isn’t really important to you they think you are either not responsible enough or you don’t care about your future when u get old.
Thanks for your videos. 😍
He still does own a home, unless he sold the one he had got for his parents a few years ago?
The thing is what is the alternative to owning a home? What if you want a home gym, or studio, or a garage to put your car in ? Should you never even own a car ? Living in hostels, frat houses and capsule hotels gets old after a while. Idk I’m I tripping should it really be that easy to go through life with just a laptop and 2 changes of clothing as your only possession?
I just think realistically you’re gonna want a house you can call your own. Living your whole life in rooms owned by someone else, you’re never “home”. You’re always just a guy squatting in someone else’s property, and only barely tolerated there as long as you continuously fork over $$$$ just for the privilege of existing.
Not buying a house and living with his parents led to his divorce unfortunately 😢 You have your answer. Make life decisions that works for you. Good luck!
There are different opinions based on the home prices where you live and your income. Housing is the largest expense in our lives right after income tax. And for some, is the largest expense you'll have to pay as long as you live. If you buy a home, as one point it gets paid off and then you live free of a mortgage. Just make sure you choose an affordable one.
Dude, why does countryside Japan look so much more fun and better than city Japan?
Glad to see that you have "choice" of quitting making money. As a layman like me, I wish that one day I can be privileged to have this choice while being financially strong.
More content like this please!

ok.. love this video.
You are such a beautiful person ❤️ thank you for this video.
Hey an actual true video! Nice work, great shots too. Happy to see you leave the dark humor at the door in this one
You are saying, that money is not everything, but without money you would not be able to visit Japan.
