In the video I get a good impression of your He-man & Battle Cat. I would have liked to see the Mer-Man Legends statue next to it. Here I could have estimated the size even better as I only have MotU Legends statues. I'm also interested in the He-man & Battle Cat maquette now that I've seen the Skeletor & Panthor counterpart at Power Con. They will look wonderful together.
The sizing is interesting. Mer-man 1/5 is taller but He-Man 1/6 is a lot higher in mass. Trap Jaw is next so once he arrives I'll do a comparison. I think we will be shocked at how small Mer-man is next to Trap Jaw and Skeletor also.
@@supermankelly I will look forward to the comparison. I also noticed in the pictures from conventions that Mer-Man almost looks like a hobbit compared to Trap Jaw and Skeletor. Especially Skeletor has a higher base but Tweeterhead certainly doesn't do anything unintentionally. They really do an excellent job.
You should get the 1/4 PCS Set, it's fraking huge and fits more to the 1/3 scales than this 1/6. IMO the base is too plain, wished they added more details
I get that, but he is supposed to have the classic toy look. The base is like the original Castle Greyskull. Maybe some more detail on the base wouldn't hurt.
That was a long time ago. Glory days where price was hardly discussed within the hobby. Prices across the board have doubled past 5 years. Even PCS wouldn't sell He-man and Battlecat today for $900.
Nice statue. Where did you get that look like 1/4 Steel statue? I have been wanting a Steel statue so bad and can’t find one. I want one in 1/6 mainly but 1/4 would be cool too
Congrats man. Looks nice. Considering getting one myself. I had asked Sideshow about the materials used and they told me it was fully polystone. But you thought Cat and the base are PVC? I mean they do appear on the video kinda plastic and sounded hollow . . or at least a different material from He-Man himself.
Yeah I believe it's PVC. That much resin would way a lot and that would have made shipping a lot. It doesn't bother me because I don't think they look PVC themselves, that would be more the colour paint. You could never have that much resin leaning in 2 legs.
@@supermankelly I don´t think you are right. You see how thick the metal parts on the paws are? And Resin Staues generally are not complete full material. I think the Battlecat have an inner metall structure that gives them the enormous stability that is needed.
How did you get that so quickly? Where did you order it from. Ive had it preordered for a while now and havent recieved an email notification or anything yet.
It shipped from Sideshow and arrived. I'm not on FB anymore so unsure who else has got it. I fully paid for mine when ordering year plus ago. Do you have any payments left to make?
Ah, I see. Makes sense. I preordered it from Bigbadtoystore like 3 months ago and just put a deposit. I see now that it is available on sideshow to buy, ( low stock remaining ) but not at BBTS yet.
Looks great and really stands out. Congrats on getting this piece. Are you gonna get the Skeletor on Panthor to match? I'm waiting for the Sorceress and Evil-Lyn from the Legends line.
Shipping weight is 19.5kg. I would say the box + he-man are 5-7kg of that so Battle cat and base probably about 12-14kg. I have no way to confirm. Most statues are hollow in larger parts like the torso but he's definitely resin.
I'd put money on Battlecat is PVC as it sounds different when I touch it. Like Doomsday from Sideshow which is PVC. But if resit is very hallow it can sound similar, so I don't know. I'll ask David Igo when I next talk to him on FB.
@@supermankelly in some videos there is paint abrasion on the underside of the standing paw´s. Instead of black, there are grey parts wehre the colour is chipped. Do you have anything like this? Could this be from the inserting in the base holes and from standing on the base?

@@schnuppernaschen216 Skeletor having the tallest base definitely makes sense. Would be odd if he was lower than his minions!
I added a Short of them next to each other.
Complimenti per la collezione!!
Hi-man top
Sembra meno imponente delle altre statue.....
Ma rende tantissimo!🤚
Almost getting mine. Can't wait.
Always exciting. Are you also getting Skeletor on Panthor?
@@supermankellyI am! Already pre-ordered it. Them facing He-Man and Battle Cat will be yhe most epic display.

Great statue but I can’t justified paying 1k for a 1/6 scale when PSC released there combo 1/4 at $900.

Do you have any photos of this statue with the Skeletor bust behind it? Reckon that'll be a dope set up.
On my Instagram @therealsupermankelly 👍🏼
Hi there, what is the size of the base? I can't find that info on the Sideshow website. I want to know if it will fit on my stand, thanks.
I'm not at home today but will measure when I am.
Thanks a lot.
@@supermankelly Did you have a chance to find the size of the footprint of the base?
@@dhalsim12345 Apologies for the late reply. The base is 31cm wide x 52cm at longest point but 65cm if you include Battlecat which leans forward.
Thanks a lot for coming back to me.

It's a custom from a couple years ago. I'll be selling him along with Cyborg Superman
UK only sale.

I see another video up for it so I'm not the only one! They send in batches. Probably depends how quick you ordered a year or so ago.

Hello! Could you say how heavy the Battlecat and the base is? Did you test if He-Man is also hollow or is he fullcast?

And the He-Man is complete Full Material. Do you the knocking test also on his body parts. Maybe the legs of Battlecat are full material also.
There is no way to know for sure how thick it hollow a statue is. Unless you ask Tweeterhead.
