Currently, the province is facing an exodus of youth moving to other regions of Canada, all while our elderly population is retiring from work and dying of old age. This has caused an unskilled and skilled labour shortage in many areas of the province. So if any Sir Lankans are wanting to come to Canada please look into moving to Saskatchewan. Housing is cheap, food is cheap, and nature is all around you. You will just need to get used to having no people around you, as we only have a million people living in an area the size of roughly ten Sir Lankan islands. My city is The Battlefords, Saskatchewan. The province faces a major shortage of CCAs (continuing care aids), nurses, dentists, and family doctors. So if you plan on getting a student visa I would recommend applying for studies within healthcare. The CCA program here at the NorthWest Regional College in my city is 8 months long, other than that you will need to attend the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon for a degree in another career field. Going into healthcare would be your best bet in getting approved for a Visa, but you could also try to find jobs to become an electrician or plumber, or home construction builder, or just flip burgers at McDonald's. Literally, every business in my city is trying to find more employees. Also if you plan on becoming a Canadian citizen eventually and plan on bringing most of your family here that might also help with your cause. As Canada's political party is very family-focused with the goal of achieving a Canadian population of over 100 million citizens by the end of the century. -side note. The average 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house costs 180,000$ in The Battlefords, while rent is 1,200$ a month from the same size house. So you could easily purchase a house here within a few years after arriving. The only thing is Saskatchewan is a land of extremes. In the winter it gets very cold as low as minus 30 celsius, and up to plus 40 celsius in the summers. I was born into this climate so I am used to it, but someone coming from a warm tropical climate might find it unbearable. This is why many immigrants move to Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto as the climates are mild. The only thing is these cities are getting way too many immigrants annually, and the housing supply can not keep up, which is why they are some of the most expensive cities in the world; average houses are over 1 million dollars, and rent is so expensive.

My university is Yorkville University, it’s one of the more affordable universities in Canada, and I’m doing a Business Mgmt Course. Our visa took 10 weeks since the day of submission.
Its about to be 4 months now still I haven't received any cashback that they promised me. I bought ticket from their site I bought the ticket on 25 th September 2022 for 16th feb 2023. Today is 4th January 2023. More than 50 emails are done by me. I am tired of requesting. They exploit the customers. They keep on saying they have large volume of customers so they cant give cashback on time. If they cant give cashback on time they shouldnt promise early cashbacks. If they can give after 1 year they should just write cashback within 1 year. If they tell you that you will receive within 3 days then they tell you in 1 week then 21 working days and then keep telling you 3 weeks 4 weeks every time the customer loses faith. Also huge volumes is not an excuse. If their volumes are huge they should hire more people to cope up with such volumes. Customers suffer because of their greed to spend less money on hiring people. I demand the cashback and compensation of the mental torture I have suffered due to their negligence. This is the last time me or anyone I know would ever travel in srilankan airlines. Never travel from srilankan scamlines. Patheic service
