Solar Still-Life Raft Survival Equipment.

Review of a Navy solar still that once was part of the survival gear in a life raft. It was used to make fresh drinking water from sea water. This still was manufactured in April 1966. Steve Callahan used a similar device to survive for 76 days in a inflatable life raft crossing the Atlantic Ocean.

Landfall Navigation sells the Aquamate solar still, rather pricey and much different (looks simpler)than this military one.
