It is very hard watching our kids grow up. The beauty is you have 8 so that will help a bit. This is what we teach and train them for. To become responsible, functional, healthy, independent adults. They never really leave us...but our relationship changes and looks different as they grow. I've struggled with this also...but I only have 1 child. It's very....very...very hard. Good job Mom and Dad. 🙏🏾

They will miss her at home babysitting, cooking , cleaning, washing clothes etc. I am so glad for her to get out to socialize some instead always being around the siblings. That is so important to get her ready for the real world! Maybe she finally get to meet a nice friend her age to communicate with! Kids need to interact, her siblings too. I guess it would take them away from their daily chores and mess up mom’s schedule.

I get it. My oldest baby graduated high school in 2023 and it was so emotional. Prom was the heartbreaker cuz they get so beautiful and you just know it’s the beginning of the end of childhood. And I was a mom at 17 so we grew up together so it just hit so different.
