As a person that lives in Brooklyn don’t buy anything more than $10 from them side stores. And them characters don’t play they will fight you.
As a NY'er, these specialized Street fests (ie. Japan Fest, Thai Fest, ) are so overwhelmingly crowded that it's not even worth trying to get anything, which is a damn shame because during the Japan fest there was some really amazing looking foods being sold. :(

Great video. The "Jamaica" drinks looks like a drink named "Sorrel." Jamaicans boil the sorrel leaves then boil real ginger and and add sugar. Usually the drink is very spicy because of the ginger. However, non Jamaicans usually boils it without ginger and it doesn't have any flavor.

Great video! My husband is from Brooklyn, and I have YET to visit. Our son lives in the "Boogie Down" and works in Queens! I want to take the drive along the Harlem River Dr and take in a show or two! Festivals are always my favorite 🎉

Wow..the F train to 34th Street was my work commute for several years!!....Definitely don't miss having to take the train to work...but I do miss NYC sometimes. You guys saw so much!! Very nice vlog, showcasing our stomping grounds. Los Tacos is my jam... haven't actually been to the one in Times Square, but have been to the one on Church Street near WTC and the one in Chelsea... it doesn't disappoint. Hope the cheesecake made a nice dessert. It's been years since we've been to a Broadway show, but yes, they are spectacular! I can imagine how great Aladdin on Broadway is! Yes! Last time we were in NYC we found out there are no taxes on clothing and shoes up to $100. In Ohio, we are taxed for EVERYTHING! I can't wait to get back to NYC. Thank you for the video and yes, those Time Square characters have addictions 🤣
