Once again, I (Lukasz) am really sorry for the late video. Between EYExplore workshops back in full swing, various freelance work I’ve picked up, and regular life it’s so hard to make time to produce these videos. Also, I likely have a book on the way, so I spent a good week going through about 16,000 images to make selections for that project! Things are settling down a bit, but please, please be patient with us. We have one more video from the island on the way (which we shot back in September), and after that, we already have a few new Tokyo vids already shot (back in December). So, yeah, our editing is quite slow these days. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video!
Funny how you and Chica are like "Oh a spider web! So awesome! :D". I'd be paralyzed in fear seeing a spider web... without the spider. 😂 Awesome video!
I'm a little late to the party, but I loved these last few videos. It was really cool seeing these parts of Japan, and Chica is always fun and wholesome to see. My hat goes off to Axel, walking backwards up that trail and filming could not have been easy.
I appreciate you two battling through the pointy plants with bare legs to bring us this video. I've climbed what is known as the Satsuma Fuji - Kaimon-dake in Kagoshima. Mountains as high as this in the UK don't have any trees on them and are quite bare so you definitely have the advantage of more subjects to photograph there on a cloudy day like this.
Hehe, thanks!! Yeah, I wonder if that's because of the latitude. Tokyo is quite far south compared to the UK. It's as far south as the Mediterranean. :)
Haha right true! But these little things were just so previous and adorable I couldn't bear to tread on it, especially considering the next person who might come by. :)
If that's the Insta360 X3 I'm so jealous . I absolutely love that they put a bigger screen on it and plan on getting one in the near future for some fun photos and videos
Enjoyable vid, venue challenging (sensory overload), Lukasz. Finding compositions in the forest can be difficult; so one approach is to shoot small scenes (like dewy cob webs) we can likely find elsewhere without the mountain climb and thistles. Cool shot at 5:40, V shaped path. Trusty GRIII to the “rescue” - good but not best macro tool w/o tripod. Not a great viewer inspiration to have, but not “bother” to set up tripod😊. Shrine looks like it made the trip up worthwhile effort. Was there a gift shop nearby? More importantly, a restroom? (Kidding, sorta). Cheers!
Yeah, it's a challenging environment for sure, but I like to have fun with it and if the photos come out subpar I'm okay with that. They don't need to be the sharpest shots in the world. It's about the experience of capturing them and being such a cool natural environment! And yeah, Chica did used her tripod after we shot the video. Unfortunately, tripod shooting makes the video so sloooooow, so I tend to avoid it. No gift shop, but there was a restroom (the woods, haha)! :)

Glad things are going well for you. Drop videos when you can. We will wait.
@@aquilifergroup Thank you for the support!! :)
This channel fills the hole that was left when DigtalRev fell apart! The adventures make it even better.
Wow, those are huge shoes to fill! I also miss DigitalRev. Thank you!! :)
Really miss digital re, especially the protog cheap camera challange😆
I want to commend the compositional skills of Axel (the cameraman) overall and particularly in this video. Really like how he shots the scenes.
He did an amazing job in a very difficult environment. It's the main reason our videos can be dynamic and immersive! :)

Haha, the spiders were not around! But maybe they were lurking somewhere.... :)
i love the web and droplet photos
Thank you so much!! :)
Very beautiful environments. A sudden contrast to concrete jungles of cities.
Thank you! Glad you liked it! :)

Watching this video while eating some ice cream, what a relaxing time😁

17:56 Probably my favourite shot from this video! Love the soft colours and almost mystical vibe it has.
Thanks!! The haze really makes it work! :)
Crazy foggy photos 🎉🎉
The fog was beautiful! :)
I love nature photography! Those were some great shots and don't worry about damaging the foliage in the forest, trust me it will grow back!! 😀

Actually, that's actually a Ricoh Theta X! The first Theta with a screen (the other models don't have one). :)
@@EYExplore Oohh didn't know about the Ricoh Theta . Am interested as one can never have too many toys ∩^ω^∩

She does not. Only instagram: instagram.com/suzuwanders/

“Challenge your eye!” :)
Challenge your eye! It's what I always say at the end of our videos. :)
