Thanks Joan for continuing to work on publishing information on triple negative breast cancer. I too had never heard of it before and I had 2 sisters with breast cancer. They were not triple negative. I am 56 years old, white and not overweight. I was diagnosed in January of this year with triple negative. Finished chemo and a double mastectomy a month ago. Heightened anxiety and chemo brain for sure. Thanks again. Janice
I love your videos, please continue to share. I was diagnosed in Feb 2016 and just this week completed radiation. I'm hoping to having testing done in December to know if I've achieved PCR...scary thing, waiting.
Thanks for mentioning breast density...it really is a huge factor. After chemo my tumor was still little over 1cm...but mammography did not find it...but the radiologist was suspicious so did ultrasound to confirm it.And there it was.I could not find it at all during breast self exams
Just finished last chemo Radiation starts after 3-4 weeks break the way the Doctor spoke its like after this there is nothing else??What if it comes back ? no other treatment?? or ??
I don't think it is appropriate for people who have/had TNBC, and are trying to find out about it to be confronted with an unnecessarily blunt 'This type is a death sentence' Everyone in the process of living is also in the process of dying, we all could be said to have a death sentence - we don't tend to frame it that way.
True. There needs to be more funding for this type of cancer.

This type is a death sentence. Please do more research!

STRANGE MY SISTER HAS IT 17 YEARS
I am 30 years old with stage 3 TNBC and REFUSE to believe this is a death sentence. I am kicking cancer's butt everyday.
This was such an inappropriate comment for all of the women out there fighting this type of breast cancer.
You are heartless, soulless and extremely insensitive to come on here and say that!
