The agitation was purely because Saitama doesn't like long and drawn out speeches as we've seen with Genos. Genos didn't even "hurt" Saitama and he yelled at him for taking too long. fun fact: (idk if i remember this exactly right but its something like this) The creator when he was younger (20 years ago) had his own little comic which featured boros who would travel the galaxy destroying planets looking for a actual opponent. in boros' introduction he says something along the lines of "I've been looking for a good opponent for 20 years" i just think that's cool. correct me if i'm wrong.
Good powerscaling MrPerfectCell. Alot of powerscalers have been downplaying Boros lately in their top 10 strongest list of One Punch Man characters. And let's not forget scaling Boros's suppressed armored base form above his own servants like the gravity weilding alien who Boros says is pretty powerful and can be scaled very powerful on their own as well. You did a good job but this would help your research on supporting Boros still being one of the strongest One Punch Man characters.

Is there anything proving that Blast is that strong ? Except on the defensive, we never see any outstanding abilities from him. Not something that would surely destroy Boros, which can wipe out the surface of the entire planet. A lot of headcannon here. We simply can't know at the moment.

Technically, the "He took damage" statement is from Boros, not the narrator, so all that means is, in that moment, Boros *believed* Saitama took damage (You can tell it isn't narration because it isn't in a box, also, iirc, it's also a statement that follows from what Boros was saying earlier). Not that this is likely to undercut your point, or w/e
none of the other cover statements are from the perspective of the characters, and if you translate the statement yourself It reads "unexpected damage", there is no reason to believe that it's from Boros's perspective and not a direct statement like every other one

I think Boros remained the 2nd strongest character for most of the manga but by the end of the manga, the listing of most powerful characters would be 1. Saitama/God (could be interchangeable since God is featless) 2. Cosmic Garou 3. Blast 4. Boros
No it’s not that it’s just that later releases removed all front page text. I even have the Japanese version of the scan so it’s definitely real it just got removed like all other cover page text in later releases

In the actual physical manga it never said he took damage and also even boros said that saitaima wasn't even trying and holding back and even said that saitaima was lying when he said it was a challenging fight.

Boros only made Saitama dirty. Saitama didn't even try. He didn't even block or dodge. This whole thing is based on the idea that Boros was able to damage Saitama a little but he definitely didn't. Boros was strong but was probably on a level closer to Tsumaki. The only reason Saitama said Boros was strong was because he recognized it and was complementing him out of respect. They both just wanted to fight a good fight but they were similar in the fact that they were bored being too strong. Saitama respected Boros but Saitama utterly destroyed him and admitted that he didn't even try.

I’m sorry but b oros didn’t/never damaged saitama it was a fan translation/misinterpretation of the fact that it was supposed to be boros inner monologue stating that and not the narrator itself stating that as that’s what occurred in the webcomic in which the manga was practically one to one to the webcomic at the time and even boros says that saitama was lying when he said that it was a good fight and that saitama was holding back a lot of his strength and in the manga saitama basically implies that he could have normal punched boros collapsing star roaring cannon away but instead used a serious punch as a flex basically and no those scratches quote on quote can easily be chopped as dirt or smut and nothing more.

We know from Garou fight that Saitama's power evolved to keep up with Garou's increasing strength. My head cannon is that Boros was slightly below Saitama, able to do some real damage and that Saitama's power rose throughout the fight to the point where he no diffs him at the end but at the start of the fight, Saitama wouldn't have been able to one shot Boros even if he went all out
Maybe we could say that Saitama would have been an 8 and boros would have been a 5 in strength but as the fight went on Saitama went to 10 whereas boros stayed at 5
Many People say that if Boros would have gotten Gods power he would be more powerful than Cosmic Garou and even Blast which IS TOTAL BS. First of all, Boros has no technique no martial arts, he just has pure strenght and destructive powers. Also Garou's most useful skill was that he was able to learn techniques and styles almost instantly as he was fighting someone. Which is how he was able to escape being trapped in another dimension which Boros would not have been able to do since he doesn't have that skill. Done, Done. Why did you not mention Blast? Also you make many mistakes in what you say like you said that Monster Garou can "keep up" with Pumped up Metal Bat and Silverfang even though they are nowhere close to his strenght and Speed. Platinum S was said to be faster than Flashy Flash or as fast as him but Monster Garou was many times faster than him. Flashy Flash is 5 times faster than the Speed of light "at least". And Cosmic Garou later on was able to fight Saitama at a cosmic level of Destruction, destroying thousands if not millions of suns as seen in the picture, the sheer amount of Stars that had to be destroyed for that whole area to be pure black is insane. Blast is even faster than Garou and most likely even stronger, we don't see the full strenght of Blast since he didn't want to fight Garou directly but rid him of the influence of God. Flashy Flash was so fast that Saitama even complimented him saying that he is very fast. That alone is very goddamn impressive, Blast on the other hand was able not only to outspeed him but appear behind him and scare the living shit out of him while not even sweating as if he didn't even run or try. My point is that Boros doesn't dominate all of the S Class. This was my presentation about Blast and why Boros doesn't dominate the S Class. Thank you.

I think the only way Boros would give Cosmic Garou a good fight is if it was Cosmic Garou before fighting Saitama, which means before Garou even had the chance to match Saitama's Power even as it increases. I don't know, even base cfm garou seems deadlier imo, he was literally throwing nuclear explosions with his fists, that and including his experience with martial arts would overwhelm boros

It could possibly mean that Garou's nuclear fist is equal to Boros's punch at that moment and means Garou and Boros are equal at that point of time, of course, once Garou pulls out the Gamma Ray Burst, all Boros could do is just tank and regenerate from that, CSRC isn't strong enough to beat it.

Now you may be asking what does this have to do with Boros, well you see unlike Saitama's fight with Boros he wasn't fighting Cosmic Fear Garou with killing intent behind his attack, also unlike Boros Saitama doesn't comment the of the earlier version of Cosmic Fear Garou in chapter 165 like with Boros in his 2nd form and in his 3rd form which Saitama stated that it almost feel like a serious fight. Also correct me if I'm wrong but in the OPM campus didn't it state that a base Boros in his armor was able to destroy planets, if so then doesn't this make the meteoric burst Boros being star level valid?

@Scaling Seth by mistranslation you are referring to Boros' "collapsing star roaring canon" being star level correct, if so then you have to remember that in the OPM campus it says that base Boros in his armor is able to destroy planets. Also while it's true that season 1 of the anime is a little bit different from the manga (just miner changes here and there), it isn't that different to where it would diverge from the manga's continuity.

What I said was "There's no evidence that Boros hurt Saitama in the direct accusation presented. i.e. when he hit Saitama and the anime had him "bleed"." Not in the source material and especially when compared to the likes of being literally punched into the moon and him coming back with no injuries whatsoever. The *only* thing someone could say Saitama was frustrated about what Boro's rant. Especially since he was completely chill when he made it back to earth which was, objectively, a far more powerful hit. In conclusion, Saitama had no evidence of being damaged, as we already agree on, but also didn't get hurt, which I assume will still be contested. The agitation was purely because Saitama doesn't like long and drawn out speeches as we've seen with Genos. Genos didn't even "hurt" Saitama and he yelled at him for taking too long. He wasn't frustrated in any direct and linkable way to the attack Boros did against him.
TL:DR Boros didn't even hurt Saitama, there's no evidence for that. And Saitama only got frustrated at Boro's speech as demonstrated by the speech Genos gives.

Technically, the "He took damage" statement is from Boros, not the narrator, so all that means is, in that moment, Boros *believed* Saitama took damage (You can tell it isn't narration because it isn't in a box, also, iirc, it's also a statement that follows from what Boros was saying earlier). Not that this is likely to undercut your point, or w/e
none of the other cover statements are from the perspective of the characters, and if you translate the statement yourself It reads "unexpected damage", there is no reason to believe that it's from Boros's perspective and not a direct statement like every other one

Boros only made Saitama dirty. Saitama didn't even try. He didn't even block or dodge. This whole thing is based on the idea that Boros was able to damage Saitama a little but he definitely didn't. Boros was strong but was probably on a level closer to Tsumaki. The only reason Saitama said Boros was strong was because he recognized it and was complementing him out of respect. They both just wanted to fight a good fight but they were similar in the fact that they were bored being too strong. Saitama respected Boros but Saitama utterly destroyed him and admitted that he didn't even try.

We know from Garou fight that Saitama's power evolved to keep up with Garou's increasing strength. My head cannon is that Boros was slightly below Saitama, able to do some real damage and that Saitama's power rose throughout the fight to the point where he no diffs him at the end but at the start of the fight, Saitama wouldn't have been able to one shot Boros even if he went all out
Maybe we could say that Saitama would have been an 8 and boros would have been a 5 in strength but as the fight went on Saitama went to 10 whereas boros stayed at 5
Many People say that if Boros would have gotten Gods power he would be more powerful than Cosmic Garou and even Blast which IS TOTAL BS. First of all, Boros has no technique no martial arts, he just has pure strenght and destructive powers. Also Garou's most useful skill was that he was able to learn techniques and styles almost instantly as he was fighting someone. Which is how he was able to escape being trapped in another dimension which Boros would not have been able to do since he doesn't have that skill. Done, Done.
Why did you not mention Blast? Also you make many mistakes in what you say like you said that Monster Garou can "keep up" with Pumped up Metal Bat and Silverfang even though they are nowhere close to his strenght and Speed. Platinum S was said to be faster than Flashy Flash or as fast as him but Monster Garou was many times faster than him. Flashy Flash is 5 times faster than the Speed of light "at least". And Cosmic Garou later on was able to fight Saitama at a cosmic level of Destruction, destroying thousands if not millions of suns as seen in the picture, the sheer amount of Stars that had to be destroyed for that whole area to be pure black is insane.
Blast is even faster than Garou and most likely even stronger, we don't see the full strenght of Blast since he didn't want to fight Garou directly but rid him of the influence of God. Flashy Flash was so fast that Saitama even complimented him saying that he is very fast. That alone is very goddamn impressive, Blast on the other hand was able not only to outspeed him but appear behind him and scare the living shit out of him while not even sweating as if he didn't even run or try.
My point is that Boros doesn't dominate all of the S Class. This was my presentation about Blast and why Boros doesn't dominate the S Class. Thank you.

I think the only way Boros would give Cosmic Garou a good fight is if it was Cosmic Garou before fighting Saitama, which means before Garou even had the chance to match Saitama's Power even as it increases. It could possibly mean that Garou's nuclear fist is equal to Boros's punch at that moment and means Garou and Boros are equal at that point of time, of course, once Garou pulls out the Gamma Ray Burst, all Boros could do is just tank and regenerate from that, CSRC isn't strong enough to beat it.

Now you may be asking what does this have to do with Boros, well you see unlike Saitama's fight with Boros he wasn't fighting Cosmic Fear Garou with killing intent behind his attack, also unlike Boros Saitama doesn't comment the of the earlier version of Cosmic Fear Garou in chapter 165 like with Boros in his 2nd form and in his 3rd form which Saitama stated that it almost feel like a serious fight. Also correct me if I'm wrong but in the OPM campus didn't it state that a base Boros in his armor was able to destroy planets, if so then doesn't this make the meteoric burst Boros being star level valid?
