Lovely hotel, great service and location.
I used 3 free night certs for the crocks ford's at Resorts World Las Vegas. Didn't get the best redemption value but i had to use them and I had already used my points to book my Trip to London so well see. The total for three nights was 1560 cash price plus the resort fees so getting a good 500 plus worth of value for each free night.

Depends on what you want. It is a very small boutique style hotel with very attentive staff. That is what you are paying for.
Also it is in one of the more populated area in the USA too. So per square footage prices are very high.

@@charleshawj1036 oh if you got the free night bonus then yes you can use it. That was a limited time offer, not part of the card’s usual benefits, the surpass gives a free night after $15k spend and the aspire gives a free night automatically every year.

No, and I don't really believe in the FIRE lifestyle. The investing and passive income part, yes, but the retiring early part, no. I need to work to give my life purpose, interviews I have seen with FIRE people, their lives look boring. I think I could only do it if I had some kind of passion project to dedicate myself to that was unpaid.
Nothing in Soviet Monica is worth 650 a night! So many other beach cities in California that are cleaner, safer, and better.
Too bad the beach is overrun with homeless and the crime that comes along with it.

Compared to Las Vegas hotels, hotels in other states look basic, dated and underwhelming!

hotel = meh...location isn't all that great and is deceiving by saying its beachfront property. Small pool, insanely overpriced food and beverage, insanely overpriced hotel. Waste of a redemption. Completely understand why you would cover the hotel from a business perspective. Not trying to throw any judgement your way, all your other content.
I quite liked it. I agree with you about the location, since you have to cross the highway, its a 7 min walk to the beach. But i liked the food, pool and room. My view sucked though, as you saw
