Your videos are always so entertaining. I thought it was very touching that you visited the railway that evoked such happy boyhood memories of Thomas and friends.
Well thanks for sharing your visit to that charming Heritage Railway with us R.J.! And I can imagine, it must have been like being in a "Thomas The Tank Engine" episode! The fireman on that 4-6-0 must really know his stuff, all I saw was steam exhaust and no smoke at all indicating a VERY clean fire! Thanks again!
Yes I was extremely impressed by the professionalism of the crew and everyone that worked at the railway, following every rule and law to the t, just as they would have back in the day. It really did feel like going back to the past.
Congrats on your visit. I went to Europe last September and probably will end up going again in October. But in September I was lucky enough to visit Miniatur Wunderland. Of course it was a bucket list of any model railroader... I'm lucky that i work for an airline and can go to many of these places whenever i want
Hey RJ, thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing more from your European travels and hearing what you liked (or maybe didn't like). Did you get any ideas for your next model?
RJ, loved your video from England. If you recall, I have a large operating display of international trains from all over the world. It is located near my o gauge table. I am located in NW Ohio, and you would be welcome to visit sometime. Also, I am only about an hour drive from Cedar Point James
Haha after visiting all I learned is I need to go back and spend more time in Europe. I was in Austria and Germany too and they also seemed like one big model railroad.
I took it down because it was not a good video. It’s featured in a few other of my videos, I believe layout update 2. I plan on doing a better video in the future
May anyone please mention the "Stepney's special" title in a sentence like a title drop? Also, is "Bluebells of England" based on this real-life event: Stepney escaping from scrap in 1960 (4th page) and his arrival on the bluebell railway (5th page)?
Enjoyed your video from " across the pond" You can see how much you enjoyed it by the smile on your face. Way to go!!!
