First! That's a beautiful Pangolin. Also, do you pick the Helix Fossil, or Dome Fossil?

Currently going for my Master’s simply because I have 2 years left on my GI BILL. I really feel as if I won’t have the motivation to go for my English PHD considering that it would be without the help of the GI BILL and I kind of want to start working.

I hope you're enjoying your MA! You can do SO much with an MA in English, and you may end up TOO specialized if you do a PhD. I really recommend working on your CV AND your resume so you'll have both documents if you decide to work outside of academia. :) What area do you focus in for English?

@@JamieHerself I’m focusing on literature with the aspiration to be a high school English teacher. Yes, I understand that this can be done with just a BA and teaching credentials, but I want to exhaust my educational benefits and further qualify myself. :)

I have a BFA major in painting and I am super interested in an MFA though I don't want to force myself at this time because I'd like to experience the school rather than online learning . I find it amazing hearing stories of people taking phds and I love your major! I might be a painting major but I enjoyed creative writing so much. It also adds value because my work, as my works are always narrative based. I find your PhD topic interesting especially about the womb. Do you post your writings? I'd love to read them. Love the insight. It was great meeting you! I hope to see more from your channel. Lastly the pangolin is so lovely, loved the purple!

I minored in studio art, so I definitely agree that narrative is so important for creating visual art! I need to find a good place to feature my scholarly work, but I am hoping to do some writing that'll will be free to access on Medium :) I really appreciate your interest! I'm so stoked to meet you, and thank you for the kind words. You are so awesome!

Hello! I loved hearing your experiences before and during your PhD. I am currently a Portuguese and English teacher in high school here in Brazil for 3 years. This year I will try to apply for the English Literature PhD, I'm still analyzing universities and getting in touch with some professors. However, I am very interested in contemporary literature and dystopias and it has been very difficult to find something related to this. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Ps: If one day you decide to show what the life of a professor at university level is like, I would love to watch it.

Particular systematic doubled curriculum oh I have completed these other credentials credits too. Very specific system of courses that's half literal nonsense. Double dragon.
