I would agree if XY didn't exist. Obvious-from-the-start 'plot twist', followed by raiding the enemy base, followed by raiding the OTHER enemy base, all with a whopping _three_ fights against the team's boss shoehorned along the way. It's the worst pacing in the entire series, and a lot of it was because they insisted on a 'twist villain' that could be seen coming from light years away. P.S. I initially misheard "almond" as "omen" and was like "ooh, such an ominous name for our bat" lol
Have you considered doing a Pokemon Xenoverse run? I saw a video just explaining things about the game and just started it myself, I think it’d be interesting to see how you react to the new type introduced to the game and trying to figure out what every pokemon can do now
