The unit has a bearing rifling attached just behind the tracer electronics to help improve the blaster's accuracy. So it is still useful even without the flash.
I love how on some shots the flash syncs with the camera's FPS and we see it in the footage but other times we only see the glowing dart. Is the flash distracting to you irl?
i use a tracer for my airsoft markers which runs on the same concept and has a flash like this tracer here, and it only gets a little distracting if im like firing full auto in the dark, 99% of the time your fine

i love mine. had it for about 4 months now. T238 is the company. I highly recommend their brand glow tip darts. They fire great in a full auto flywheeler or high fps springers. I love them. When i got my first 200 darts i immediately ordered 800 more. I have shot only the first 200 through about 3000 shots. About 15 shots each dart. Tore off about 20 heads. None of the foam was damaged and the heads glued right back in. My tracer unit still works great. They also have the dragon darts. All of it is on sell right now. T238. Check them out. T238.

For the amount of money this costs and the drawbacks it has, I don't see a point in it. It's not much more than an overpriced steel can. It only "attaches" (more like fits) on specific barrels, only really works with specific darts, adds a lot of weight to the front of your blaster and only really simulates muzzle flash, it doesn't look to be functioning like a tracer unit at all. I get the concept and I assume it really is better in real life than on video, but I don't think the downsides justify the price. Especially if your unit didn't come with a manual. Love the series, really reminds me of your old videos where you focused on attachments just as much as blasters.
in contrast to many youtube channels, i like it so much, that you fill that mass of information in that short videos. many youtubers talk endless without an content. you speak fast but clear so still easy to understand for even none native speakers like me!
I’m super disappointed in mine overall. I picked up the SLS nylon rgb version and the treads are trashed out of the box so it’s impossible to get it to tighten without it slanting slightly. I was able to straighten it out for testing purposes but it wouldn’t stay on during gameplay. There’s also this cheesy plastic tube inside to help keep the batteries from falling into the dart path. It flys out every so often. Mine also came with no instructions, and for the life of me I have no idea how to get it to do rgb and UV at the same time. Can only do one or the other. 👎🏻 👎🏻
I don't like the color, make it metallic orange at least for safety, and i do think it make you a better shot since you can better follow up with the secondary shots by watching the fall of the tracers

Its cool that it looks like a muzzle flash but I will say, I wouldn't be surprised if using this gets some people in trouble because even though you wouldn't hear a gunshot, using this in public could result in someone freaking out seeing people at night with guns and seeing the flash and a lit up projectile (moving way too slow but people would still freak out)
I like this format as a way of covering smaller tools and addons for blasters; heck I can even understand it for really simple small blasters. Then again, I did rather enjoy the full length Jolt escapades from days gone by.

So they’ve taken GlowStrike and added muzzle flash. I was thinking of doing that that with an AlphaStrike and a couple of disposable cameras.
